“Just one word: Perfect!”

The service was OUTSTANDING! I had a condition that required me to keep diet and the personal made every wish possible. Friendly, welcoming and absolutely service oriented. We‘ve been to several places during our trip and this was - by far - the best. The restaurant has a uncommon yet very good menu. It was a much welcomed alternative to the standard „gallo pinto“ & co we‘ve had the weeks before. Not to mention it was extraordinarily tasty! The room was very good too. It had everything one needs and could wish for. The location is very close to the beautiful beach. The hotel has a short private path in good condition there. We could see hauler monkeys and lizards directly from our room inside the hotel area.

The room was large, spacious and clean. On arrival we were given a welcome drink and showed to our room. The facilities in the room were excellent, including small kitchen area, coffee machine and fridge with nice seating area. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent, freshly cooked and delicious as were the cocktails. The staff were all very friendly. The beach is a short walk through the forest.

One of the most special hotels I've stayed in, we saw so many animals there, iguanas, monkeys, squirrels and more, an excellent beach for surfing with a surfing club on site, the restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner, the room was huge and cozy, we were on the second floor so there was less room for animals to enter the rooms. The laundry services were a complete and excellent surprise

Amazing and attentive staff. The room was very spacious and we felt very comfortable. There were mosquito nets on every window which was convenient. There's two pools on the property one of them was barely used in our time there and we had it almost to ourselves. There's a private beach access directly from the hotel and it only takes 3 minutes to get to the beach.

“Outstanding Holiday Experience in Paradise”

We are a well traveled family but this hotel is just amazing. I stayed with my daughter for 5 days and everything was just perfect. Hardly saw any hotel wich is so nice surrounded by nature and we observed so many animals, howling monkeys everywhere. It is outstanding how much that hotel cares about the environmental outcome. The staff is very friendly and the laundry service a big plus. We loved to drive around with the bikes. The breakfast is lovely and the walk through the jungle directly to beach observing crabs and frogs, couldn’t get enough.

What an AMAZING hotel! The location is perfect, just a 1 min walk to the beach through stunning jungle on a private path and a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. Everything about the hotel was perfect for us, the room was beautiful and we loved the private outside space to sit and watch monkey, birds, iguanas & geckos while enjoying a nice cold beer. Both pools were very welcome after a busy day exploring and the food was delicious. I think the best thing about the hotel was all the staff! They were so friendly, always happy to chat, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It’s clear they all enjoy their jobs as they were always smiling, happy and laughing with each other giving the hotel a very friendly and relaxed feel. Ines and Nikole on the front desk in particular went above and beyond helping with restaurant suggestions and bookings even sending me menu’s from a number of local restaurants so I could check there would be something my fussy son would eat! Not to mention telling us the best place to go to find local handmade souvenirs.

Everything was good, Beatriz from the front desk, received us with a Pura Vida welcome. We really love this place.

Loved the place, great location, walking distance to everything in Guiones. Bikes available are a must try to move easier and faster around the area. 4WD recommended as roads are not in great condition. Would go back!

“A true 10/10 - can’t wait to go back”

This was our first trip with a baby - we had our 4 month old daughter with us and stayed here for 8 nights. It was truly exceptional. The staff is so thoughtful, kind, generous, gracious, and helpful. Our baby was in love with them all holding her while we got to eat meals. I am forever grateful to the lovely ladies working the front desk and restaurant - they made our trip so wonderful. Speaking of the meals, wow. Breakfast was awesome and has such a great menu that even being there for 8 days, it never got old. We also had dinner and lunch at the restaurant - also so great. The room was perfect and the free laundry service was so helpful with the baby. We even had a pack n play provided by the place to borrow making our travel even easier. We got to surf everyday with the ease of the ocean right down the epic jungle path. We watched monkeys for hours from our balcony, spent afternoons taking our baby in the pool for the first time, and could enjoy air conditioned naps in the hot afternoon. This will be a trip we hold dear forever as it was our first as parents and Olas Verdes will be remembered as the best possible place to spend it. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back for sure.

Loved the overall atmosphere. The restaurant was really nice, lots of choice and super helpful and kind staff. Delicious food. The front desk team were also very friendly and helpful. It’s very near the beach. My room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bed, linen, towels.
