The serenity of the location was a great way to wind down after a long leg flight. Couldn't have been more comfortable, along with a lovely conversation over breakfast. Felt like a perfect welcome to Canada

The floor in the halleway was heated. Our room, our bathroom, our floor remained cold. Fortunately we had warm blankets.

“Inaccurate room description”

The room description is not accurate - there is no air conditioning, just a broken fan. We specifically booked for a room with air conditioning as my husband struggles without, when we questioned the property owners we received no response. We were given a takeout breakfast which was lack lustre and overall did not find this property good value for money.

Beautiful house in a fabulous spot by the river. Exceptionally clean & comfortable. Delicious breakfast, served by Michael, who chatted with us & gave us some valuable information about our next destination. Would definitely stay again.

“A great North Vancouver find.”

Was appreciated that there was a 2 hr window for breakfast instead of 1 set time. A later noon checkout was good. River at the end of the backyard was terrific....both for hearing at night and to sit by in the provided Adirondack chairs. So peaceful!

We loved the amazing views and the convenience of staying here. The room was spacious with everything we needed and a lovely view of the river. Our hosts were welcoming but not overbearing. Breakfast was always delicious and varied and it was lovely to catch up with other guests and get tips and advice from Michael (and the dogs too). Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver.

Lovely quiet location. Beautifully clean. Lots to do in the area.

From the moment we arrived Michael made us feel at home. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the river that flows at the bottom of the garden. Each morning Michal surprised us with a different freshly made breakfast along with as much coffee we wanted. We chatted most mornings and got a lot of great suggestions of places to visit. If we ever return to Vancouver we will return to them gladly.

Nice rooms, very good breakfast, the host provides good information about the area. (Eg parking in Longdale to use the waterways to Vancouver. Located perfectly to explore the area north of Vancouver. (Day hikes).

A beautiful place, built as an Airbnb. Clean and quiet. Love the river just in front of the house. Michael is a wonderful host who prepares delicious breakfast. We had everything that we needed in this beautifully decoration room. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice place away from the busy city.
