“Historic Stay”

This is such a beautiful hotel that I would recommend to everyone. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The interior and exterior are magnificent. It has an old feel since the hotel is from 1931 and it feels like you’re stepping back in the past, but with better facilities. If you end up staying here, you won’t regret it. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Also they have parking which was a necessity for us. Thank you for everything!

The Hotel Valide Hanim Konak is well located and to a walk distance to the better spots of interest and in a calm portion of the street. The hotel is cozy, in a old and traditional building which is a differential for your stay. The room is good very beautiful and clean with a very god bathroom. All the people of the hotel is quite sympatic and friendly. Since our flight was departing very soon in the morning, we were not able to wait the opening time of the breakfast but Dimitri and the crew of the kitchen kindly provided us with with delicious sandwiches later in the previous night of our depart to us not to leave in the morning without having some food before leaving to airport. Very good place to stay very nice crew. We definitively recommend staying at Hotel Valide Hanim Konak hotel.

“Beautiful historical building in North Nicosia”

The hotel is in a beautiful Turkish mansion, now a hotel and restaurant. The bedroom contained a very comfortable four poster bed, so high above the floor that a pair of steps was provided on each side. A large and varied breakfast was included. The restaurant specialises in 'all you can eat meat' - I didn't try it. The hotel is a ten minute walk into the fascinating town of Lefkosa - that is, the Turkish part of Nicosia.

Hotel Valide Hanim Konak is a beautiful old building in the historic area of North Nicosia. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are comfy. We had dinner at the hotel, which comprised all you can eat service to the table, with delicious cold mezze and 7 different types of meat, all of which were equally delicious!

Just excellent. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Lovely restored mansion close to main North Nicosia attractions. And staff were lovely. Room facilities were good but the location can be a noisy late evening from traffic.

Staff were very pleasant and we loved the building - renovated old style hotel. Breakfast also was good - local olives, cheese, etc.

Lovely period building. Smallish but nice room (but very light for sleeping) with nice features. Good breakfast (set piece, no choices) - very fresh stuff. Helpful staff. Good location for the border and for the shuttle to/from the airport.There's a nice parrot too! Recommended for Lefkosa.

The best hotel I've had in all Cyprus witin the same line of budget. Excellent location, antique house with objects kept, refurbished witj a lot of taste. very confortable bed, clean and all you need in the room including slipers. Staff were great! 10 stars! I recommend also the restaurant, really authentic and reasonable budget.

I’ve stayed before, so I knew what to expect. For first time tourists looking to experience the local feel, this is an excellent place to stop, within the city old town.
