“Real character, great value – Ali runs everything himself”
Positive: · Truly affordable: €36.50 per night · Real Northern Turkish hospitality – owner Ali A. Koç manages reception, cleaning, maintenance, & cooking single-handedly · Old stone & wood building (converted 30 years ago), 13 rooms only · Ensuite toilet & reliable hot water (my wife was very happy) · WiFi available, though no modern key cards – just ordinary lock & key · Internal garden where breakfast is served · Amazing location: 100m from Lokmaci shopping area & border crossing to Republic of Cyprus; walkable from Kyrenia Gate bus stop (Ercan Airport) · Plenty of restaurants nearby, close to Lefkosia town centre Negative: (optional – can be left blank, or add a tiny note) · Very basic (no frills) – but that’s the charm Bottom line: If you like old boutique hotels with a single, dedicated host who genuinely cares, highly recommended.

The room I booked wasn’t available so I had to pay to upgrade to an available room. It was fine, but not for anyone really picky. The owner was very nice.

Mr Koç, the owner, is a very nice man. He is very careful with the guests, giving advices if needed and always there to help. The maid, I forgot her name, from Sri Lanka, very nice girl, as well. The room was big and comfy, the yard is the perfect place to have breakfast, Wich they prepare for you right on the spot. I highly recommend this place.

“Lefkosa Oct 2025”
The hotel is perfectly placed for a visit to Lefkosa. The breakfast was good and the setting in the courtyard was delightful.
