The island is so calm and peaceful. I loved it and I loved the pool in the room it was private and calming. The staff are very nice and helpful. Especially, Gomma from the blue bar, he so helpful and serves tables fast.

The pool in the garden leading to the water was incredible. The staff are amazing and the food was lovely.

Staff were not cooperative and rude. Room service was not as per 5 stars hotel or resort. We were cheated because the service and price was far below as advertised.

Very near to Male, 15 mins by boat. Save on traveling time if you are on short trip. Room is clean, staff is friendly, delicious food, able to see sunrise and sunset on the same island.

Great small island , in 10 min from the airport by the speedboat. Loved that the island is small and cosy, you can reach by foot everywhere in just 5-7 min. The full board package was good, the food experience for those who have food allergies is also great, the chef cooks special gluten lactose egg free deserts, which really enhances the food experience. The staff is always welcoming and kind. Vanessa was very attentive to details. We celebrated my birthday and the staff sang the song and gifted a birthday cake (that was gluten lactose and egg free). Such a great experience! We also used a kayak once as it was included in our package free of charge. It was a good experience. Thank you very much everyone.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The island is like paradise, the water is crystal clear and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming and always helpful.

Great staff, very good choice of all food, nice beach (be aware of corals at some parts), good service at bars. Clean. Only 15min from airport. In the evening you see lights of neighbouring islands, so not full isolation but I did not mind.

I travelled with my sister and we had an excellent stay. The staff is very kind and supportive. The ambience of the resort is really nice. Access to the ocean is great as well. Perfect place to slow down and unwind.

The hotel personnel is very professional, kind, approachable. Thank you to restaurant personnel, they were always greeting with a smile, had a small talks with us, we didn’t need to approach them - they were approaching us. Thank you to cleaning team. One day we were chilling on a terrace, while we had “do not disturb “ on our room, the guy approached us asking if we need anything, we didn’t at that moment. By the evening, he placed us clean towels on a chair, toilet paper, toothbrush. They are paying attention to all details, which makes your stay very comfortable. After Malahini we had reservation in Male, and Malahini got in touch with them to arrange our arrival time to Male so next hotel can pick us up from airport. The food was really delicious. We stayed 7 nights, HB. Every dinner you have new variations of dishes. The breakfast is pretty same but you have everything: porridge, different types of eggs, fruits, vegetables, sweets. Everything was perfect.

I got the deluxe room and then upgraded to a pool villa for the last night. The staff are amazing, the food was amazing, the property is amazing, if you can’t swim that’s fine you can stand at the pier and watch all the fishes, turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks it was just fantastic.

Location and quality of the Villa

My son and I had an unforgettable stay in the Maldives at Malahini Kuda Bandos, and we would love to share our impressions. This island is a true paradise: soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and an incredibly cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Here, you feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and fully immersed in harmony with nature. The island is well-maintained, compact, and very beautiful—perfect for both a relaxing getaway and quality family time. We stayed in the largest villa with a jacuzzi and a private pool, and it was absolutely worth it. We did not regret spending the money for a second, as it made our vacation truly unforgettable and added an extra level of comfort and luxury to our stay. We would especially like to highlight the work of the entire hotel team—these are people who truly make your stay special. At the reception, we were always greeted with a smile and a willingness to help, but we would like to give special thanks to the administrator Aizat for her attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care for guests. Thanks to her, we felt truly welcome and valued. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the housekeeping staff, Rabbi and Adam. Their work was impeccable: our room was always perfectly clean, everything neat and handled with great attention to detail. It was always a pleasure to return to such a cozy and comfortable environment after a full day. Overall, Malahini Kuda Bandos left us with only the warmest and most wonderful memories. It is a place we would love to return to. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful vacation!

Malahini was a great stay overall, with some real highlights! The room was definitely the best part—super comfortable and beautifully designed. The location is absolutely amazing with stunning views all around, and the pool and jacuzzi were fantastic for relaxing. The A/C was amazing and kept the room very comfortable throughout the stay. We did notice quite a few big ants around, but they didn’t really come close or affect our experience. There’s a lot to love here, and it really shines in terms of setting and facilities. A few small improvements would make it even better—for example, having the toilet in a separate enclosed room rather than an open/outside-style setup would really improve privacy and comfort. Overall, still a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth recommending, especially for the views, location, and rooms!
