Was a beautiful little spot right by the water. Had a little beach and a games room. It was a wonderful spot! Will definatley stay again.

Wifi and location were great, cottage was clean, free access to the laundry room was a very positive surprise. Nothing negative to say about our stay - everything was just spot on!

“Great place, everything you need and would stay again”

We loved staying here, the kitchen had everything you needed, toiletries are a nice touch, shower was great, bed was comfortable. There could be some more hooks for hanging stuff, like in the bathroom for towels etc. It was a 5 min walk to 2 good restaurants, we decided on takeaway from the Indian place. It was pretty good and it hit the spot after a day of XC-Skiing. I imagine it must be nice in summer being right the lake and having a patio with a bbq etc. There was a lot of attention to detail and extras for you if you didn't bring your own, like coffee, popcorn etc. Sauna is an added bonus, you just need to let it really warm up since it was -25 out that night. Would stay here again if Im ever back in north bay.

“Convenient”

This is a superior accommodation that checks all the boxes! Beautiful inside and out, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and fully equipped with all the amenities you could want. The waterfront setting is just beautiful. You can stare at the lake from the living room, the spacious deck, or the beach right below. We sat by the outdoor fire in the evening watching the sunset, moonset and stars. This is a wonderful spot to stay for any reason, and very convenient to downtown North Bay parks, restaurants, & museums. Highly recommend 5+++stars!!!

“Best girls trip I have ever had”

I went for a girls trip and it was the best weekend I have ever had. The cottage is adorable, it is amazing for pictures and so cozy. The water was so calm and they provided us with canoes and kayaks to take advantage of this. Everyone else staying there was so kind. It was a great atmosphere.

3rd stay at the finch. This time we were lucky enough to book the Gordon cottage. I had brought a friend from out of town with me this trip, they were so impressed they’re already making plans to rebook next summer. So close to local shopping and necessities, but with the room service menu and cocktails from the restaurant about 100 steps away, we truly felt spoiled. Unmatched sunsets. Adorably appointed cottages with everything you need to make being away from home comfortable. Can’t wait for our 4th stay!

If it's a cottage experience you're seeking, you really can't find much better. The property is on the lake, the beach is very nice and the shared decks/fire pit are in a great spot (right on the beach).
