“Warm and welcoming”

The room was clean and the place had a lovely character. The lady owner was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with great food options and atmosphere.

Very good value for money! Very good breakfast and our dog was free of charge. Free parking. The beautiful Schloss Marienburg was close by.

The people there was very nice , big parking for our car , we didn’t pay for breakfast but was available and most importantly the coffee was available all day and very good one

The host was very friendly indeed, she oozed joy, it was a real pleasure. The property offered the peace and quiet I was looking for. The bus stop was right next to the property, offering convenient transport to the nearby, and small, Nordstemmen and the big town of Hildesheim. The property therefore, offers a great mix of solitude, excursions to nearby forests, the superb Schliss Marienfeld, walks along the river Leine, as well as easy access to city life. Breakfast was good and included in the price. The lounge offered a comfortable and nice retreat.

The owners were very friendly. Property was clean, beds comfy and breakfast very homey and plentiful. I had a bit of a mishap. Poorly constructed side driveway to a local Netto store caused me to puncture a tyre. it was a Friday evening. The Owners rang local tyre services and arranged a serv ice the following morning. I had a 500 km trip ahead. They walked the extra mile. I wholeheartedly appreciate this gesture.

Lovely friiendly host. Good selection for breakfast, cooked eggs if required any way. Rolls, bread, cheese, jam, yogurts, freah ftuit. Plenty of all and replenished quickly if needed. Good coffee. Will certainly visit again.

It is an old house and the room is ok but a bit old. The owners are very kind and helped us. We thanked his wife for helping us with the clothes. They don´t have restaurant and he informed us about one called Fontana, not far away by car, very good with good prices. the hotel is closed to the castle Marienburg and Hildesheim. The breakfast was OK.

We liked absolutely everything. We arrived very late, almost at night, and there were waiting for us for a late check in. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, great quality of food. The place is beautiful with different beautiful spots to take photos in the hotel. Super friendly and nice at the reception.

Nice country house, friendly owner, free parking place, very good breakfast. No dinner service but 5 minutes driving or 40 minutes on foot (which is acceptable after long drive) there is former Yugoslav restaurant.

My stay was only for one night and unfortunately it was cut far too short as I didn't arrive until 1.30am. I was stuck in traffic for 7 hours due to multiple incidents on the A2. However, I contacted the hotel who said not to worry, arrive when you can. Just before midnight still in stationary traffic the host called me and said how I can gain access, where my room key would be and what time I wished breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. My ensuite room was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable, I was so glad to get to bed. Breakfast was served in a lovely cosy dining room and the hosts were very attentive to ensure you had everything needed. I will definitely rebook for a longer stay next time and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. Thank you for your kindness
