Overview

“I would not return.”
The room was a decent size, quiet and clean. The walk-in shower was good. Everything is very simple. No frills. The manager is single-handed and does everything.

The Hotel is rather dated. Room key was damaged and we were told that if it broke we were responsible for some of the cost. Room was clean but very very basic.

“Simple and economic hotel on the E39 between Bergen and Ålesund. Good for an overnight stop.”
The owner was friendly and helpful and considering that he seemed to be running the hotel on his own, hee offered a good level of service. It is a small, simple hotel, but very clean and comfortable. An extensive breakfast was included.

“We do not recommend”
After booking we got a message that check-in is from 23:00 and we adjusted our trip to that. After arrival, after 23:00 it turned out that the hotel does not serve breakfasts that were on offer because it is Easter. The owner did not bother to give us this information before arrival so that we could prepare for it or look for another offer. Everything was closed the next day so we were left without food. Breakfast was only on the last day of our four stays, which he did not bother to inform us about. He did not respond to messages. Total ignorance, we do not recommend.
