“Handy and affordable”
Handy location close to the motorway and with plenty of places to eat on the same street. Enough free parking in the street. Good breakfast.

“Terrible Hotel, Terribly rude Management, Filthy rooms and fridges”
Nothing except one young receptionist was very kind and helpful in trying to solve our issue with the bed, but the manager ignored all his calls when he knew there was a complaint. And refused to cancel the reservation or offer any discount. What a pity. Other than that nice young man, totally nothing was good about this hotel. Looking thoroughly into other options, I realised there are many better hotels at a lower cost

“Good stay”

“Lovely staff, room was clean, warm and breakfast was nice and matched the price point.”
Breakfast was lovely but scrambled eggs were always cold, but the food was tasty and delicious. The chocolate santas were a lovely touch.

“Room is clean quiet and super large”
Happy they pick up the phone in the middle of the night and accept late booking, late check in and being really helpful for a desperate person travel long distance for a night to rest.

I read some negative remarks and yes, the place does look a bit old-fashioned, but I kind of liked the charm of it. We had a good night sleep, a warm shower and a decent breakfast. What more could you ask for when you're only staying a single night?

“Ideal for a one night stay while en route.”
Very kind staff, good breakfast, lots of restaurants in the area. Excellent large bed! Good place to stay while travelling through.
