The host, Arne, is kind, welcoming, and attentive. He caught some fresh fish for us, which we cooked and enjoyed. It was absolutely delicious. The sauna followed by going straight into the sea was an unforgettable experience.

Amazing host, Arne could not ask for more. He made the stay a true experience. The location, nestled between the sea and the mountains, is simply breathtaking. At night, he set up an outdoor firepit so we could watch the Auroras stay warm and comfy while sharing some Nordic gin with him. He even took us fishing on his boat! Beyond the activities, he was incredibly generous, providing us with food when everything nearby was closed and we had nothing to eat. You really cannot ask for more. While the house itself is great, spacious and equipped with everything you need; it was Arne’s hospitality that turned a simple stay into a lifelong memory.

Remote location. Homely. Host helpful and accommodating. Seals swimming outside property. Freshly caught fish was kindly provided by host at a small cost.

Arne is a very kind host. He was always available when we needed help regarding kitchen equipement or the sauna. There is a fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge etc. There is a sofa in the living room which is really cozy, a wood-burning stove and a big TV. There is also the possibility to rent fishing gear. The chance to catch fish is high and it tastes very good if it is freshly caught. One time I caught 3 decent sized cods which was enough for a dinner of 5 :) I can really recommend the flat and want to thank Arne for the stay!

The house waa cozy at good location. But most of all I really liked the host so much...he went all out to make our stay very comfortable 😌 he waa really very warm and affectionate..

Nice house apartment with enough space and rooms to stay with family. There was pretty much everything you needed: full kitchen, working tv, place to park your car, an interesting sauna (which I sadly did not test). The pleasant owner stayed at the other side of the road and met us at the time of check-in and check-out.

Staying at Paradis is an experience rather than a normal holiday destination. The house is big and has lots of space for people to enjoy. A few steps out of the door and you'll be on a small beach from which, if you are not afraid of the cold, you can swim. Arne can take you fishing on his little boat. During our expedition we nearly caught a halibut, we narrowly missed it but it was emotional. The location is ideal if you like to stay away from crowds and want to enjoy nature.

Arne is a great, friendly and helpful host! We loved spending time with him just talking about Norway, fish, local customs, nature, anything. Arne is also a great local guide (mountain hiking, fishing, etc.) with detailed knowledge of the area.

Big apartment, good location and not so many turists. Lots of places for hiking& mountaineering and fishing.

Beautiful nature and quiet neighbourhood surrounding the house. Our stay was comfortable . Friendly owner who also gave us tips on where to visit in the Lyngen area.
