“Favorite stay of the trip, worth a visit just to meet the hosts!”

We were just traveling through, staying one night, but this was one of our favorite stays on this trip. The hosts are the sweetest people!! The location is in a valley on top of a mountain; there are a few buildings right beside it (mostly other bed&breakfast spots), but the area was just so calm and nice. When we got back from dinner in town, the hosts offered us their own made boose from walnuts and apricots (yum), and we had a good evening chat. Got recommendations for some cool spots in Umbria which we didn't find when researching the area, and we ended up visiting quite a few of them and loved it. In the morning they made eggs from their own chickens, and everything was just delicious and lovely! Bonus: They had a very friendly cat as well. :)

The hosts are a couple who’ve lived here since before the earthquake. They were incredibly welcoming — it honestly felt a bit like visiting your nonna and nonno (I imagine!). A little protective, deeply caring, and ready to help with anything you might need, no matter what. We felt completely safe and looked after. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into every detail of the place. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with options like coffee (with both dairy and non-dairy options available), bread, a cheese and salami board, yoghurt, homemade cakes, and omelettes made from their own chickens’ eggs. The cats and dogs on-site are just as friendly and add to the homey atmosphere. The rooms are immaculate, the minibar is stocked with essentials (and very fairly priced), and we were given great hiking tips for our short stay. Can’t recommend this place enough. It is a little remote, and most trail starting points are about 45–60 minutes away by car, but the views make it absolutely worth it. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, and there’s only one main grocery store in the next town, so plan ahead for meals — but that’s part of the charm of staying somewhere so peaceful and tucked away.

It was a perfect stay for us. Great location surrounded by nature. The hosts were super friendly, and very helpful. The room was perfectly clean. And the breakfast was amazing. It was a 10/10 for us.

Livio and his wife are very friendly and gave us good advice for local travels. Beautiful location close to amazing Piano Grande. Good breakfast and nice room with comfortable bed. Lovely dogs! A good place to base ourselves to see the beautiful local area. Recommended.

very friendly and accomodating hosts in a lovely quiet location. I was able to park my car and trailer (with motorcycle) on the grass at the front and being a tiny hamlet, it was secure. Livio is a motorcyclist too and is able to assist bikers if necessary. The whole house is kept very clean.
