Overview
This authentic family hotel has been run by the owner's family for more than 95 years. And is located a 5-minute walk from the old center of Noordwijk. The North Sea Beach is just 2km from the hotel which takes you about a 5-minute ride by car, 20 minutes by foot, or a 10-minute ride by bicycle. Each room is decorated in light décor. They feature a desk, TV and a bathroom that is fitted with a bath or shower. Free toiletries are provided. Hotel Royal offers free WiFi throughout the entire hotel. Enjoy a wide variety of wines and beers served in the hotel bar, and play a game of billiards. Or relax and read a book or newspaper on the terrace or garden. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are available at the hotel. Famous Keukenhof is a 15-minutes’ drive. The A44 highway is a 9-minute drive. Historic Leiden is 10 minutes further. Voorhout Train Station is 5 km from Royal. The hotel is not accessible for individuals with mobility concerns as it requires walking up stairs.

“Pleasant stay in a nice hotel, extremely friendly owners and staff, and a comfortable room.”
Comfortable and modernized room as I had booked, but the small single rooms was narrow. The bed was comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Located in old area of Noordwijk. Car parking available. Extremely helpful and friendly staff - thanks for a nice stay.

“Disappointing and won't be going back”
Apartment was spacious. Ground floor apartment. Fridge in room. Kettle and coffee machine. Toilet was clean. Breakfast on the Sunday had more selection. Kitchen area had plenty of cups and cutlery. Safe free of charge in wardrobe.

V friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Location was just wonderful. Definitely recommend. A lovely old hotel and the family take a real pride in it.

Friendly family run hotel with well fitted out and spacious rooms. A very nice bar open to 10.30 p.m. with reasonably priced drinks. Excellent self service breakfast.

“Comfortable, clean, and great value, with lovely staff”
Comfortable and clean hotel with excellent value for money. The staff is extremely kind and makes the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast is rich and varied. There is parking available in the courtyard; if no spaces are left, it is easy to find free parking nearby. The location is also ideal for visiting Keukenhof Park. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again

“Spacious apartment for families”
We had the family studio, which is actually a 3-room apartment (2 bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette). Very spacious, decently equipped. Free parking in the hotel courtyard. We visited outside the summer season, as a much cheaper option to the hotels in Amsterdam. Sadly it was raining and we couldn't enjoy the beach but it looked nice from a distance.
