“Lovely hotel with great staff”

We tend to get out and about when we’re on holiday so didn’t really sample a range of food and drink. However, I got the distinct feeling that this was a very well run popular hotel. Great staff headed up by Annemarike.

“Great location, good food and spacious room”

An excellent experience. The room is very spacious, with a comfortable sitting area, great beds, and a tasteful interior. Breakfast was tailor-made and excellent, and the view while having breakfast over the Nieuwkoopse Plassen is, of course, an extra bonus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Whether you want to relax in the village of Noorden/Nieuwkoop or are looking for a good location for business near Utrecht and Amsterdam, this is an excellent choice. I also know that if you want to have dinner in the restaurant in the evening, the quality is good and affordable. Truly a recommendation!

Lovely waterside hotel/restaurant with the focus on service and food. Rooms upstairs but staff insisted on helping with luggage. Large room with extra seating and tea/coffee. Superb evening meal. Attentive waiting staff. Lovely, generous breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, shower warm, nice toiletries. Restaurant food lovely (though not cheap!) Hotel looks out onto a lake and the view is lovely.

Very nice smaller hotel on the shore of the lake. The rooms are large with a separate bedroom and the possibility of preparing hot drinks. Everywhere was beautifully cleaned. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts are tasty and varied. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The surroundings are attractive for walks and boat rides. I highly recommend the hotel

A really great place, most friendly staff and wonderful area. The rooms were quite large, good quality, the breakfast good and best of all is the area around and the village next to the lake. Certainly a place we'd go back without hesitation

Good location able to store bike with the staff's bikes. Big room with kitchen area and sofa plus chairs. Eat in or there are two restaurants in Norden approx half mile walk. (the Clinker Eetcafe remains our 1st choice) Good breafast, an excellant bike tour stopping point.

“Very good price-value ratio”

We got what we expected, very good price-value ratio, a spacious room, comfy armchairs, and a great breakfast. The lakeside is very beautiful and inviting, unfortunately we had to leave for other programs the next day.

“Another 5 Star Stay”

Having visited a number of times, the owner is always welcoming and attentive to detail. The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The breakfast is always lovely, with lots to choose from and will fill you up for the day.

Great place to stay. The room was spacious, very tidy and clean and had basic necessities (i.e., kettle, tv, etc.). I stayed in Monday so there were no staff around (not really an issue for me)

“Centrally-located hotel with delicious food, spacious rooms, and minor issues.”

We liked the central location of the hotel, which allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions. The restaurant impressed us with its high-end ambiance and quality food. The dishes we tried were delicious and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. We appreciated the availability of seasonal cuisine during our visit. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable living room area and a large bed. The beautiful view of the garden from our room was a highlight.
