De Plank is a family-owned hotel in the rustic village of Noorbeek, only 20 minutes’ from Maastricht in the peaceful green Heuvelland area. It includes a restaurant which serves regional cuisine, a library and a grand café with a terrace where local beers are served. Each of the rooms at De Plank comes with cable TV and a bathroom with a bath or shower, sink and a toilet. Guests can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast every morning. The towns of Aachen and Liège are both a 30-minute drive away. De Plank is only 450 metres from the Belgian border.

Great 4 nights stay. Great choices for breakfast, and had dinner 2 of the nights - food great. Staff also really helpful. Definitely stay again.

Great location and staff, they also have a restaurant with really good food, breakfast buffet was one of the best. We had a very comfortable stay. You can also do some walks in the surroundings.

“This was a terrible place and would never recommend to anyone!!!”
The breakfast was cold ...lousy..... The room had no ventilation..we were in a smoke free room but opening the door next room smoking on the balcony. We were shocked the state of the place...bugs in room dead on walls...only ventilation opening door yet on a very busy road.. I needed to go to hospital next day but got such a lousy night's sleep. For the money we paid €115.00 it was a disgrace. We will NEVER go back and NEVER recommend it to anyone!! It was a real DIVE of a place

“Great hotel in gorgeous countryside”
Fabulous location in beautiful undulating countryside. Comfortable and welcoming hotel with friendly staff, excellent breakfast (try the homemade jams) and dinner featuring local specialties. Room 5 on the 1st floor had a balcony with a terrific view of animals grazing in the pastures. The walks in the border area were absolutely lovely and memorable. A bonus: there was no need to use the car all weekend!

Friendly people with lots of good tips for walks in the area. Great terrace with view over the valley. Can start a selection of hikes straight from the hotel. Very good breakfast and room facing west with great sunset views.
