The location RIGHT on the river is amazing! So peaceful. The Staff is welcoming and always smiling. You can do laundry on site directly for only 20.000 KIP/kilo. Breakfast is very good and comes with fresh fruit. Walking distance to the center (less than 10 minutes) hot shower. Having access to coffee, tea, hot water, drinking water and even bananas at all times is so convenient.

“Dream view, good for a short stay to enjoy the village”

When we arrived, we were impressed by the breathtaking views over the river. The Hotel is literally on the river and we can just dive in from our very room. We loved the host and staff, very helpful, and lovely breakfast.

The views were amazing, we loved our room floating on the river and also having a dip in the water and loved sat out watching the thunderstorm lighting up the river in the darkness ⚡⛈️

“A perfect location with amazing views”

Fantastic location on the Ou river. Rooms are basic but perfectly fine. The breakfast is nice. There is free tea, coffee and banana all day and the owner is lovely. Super helpful. Definely recommend it. Its about a 10 mins walk to the top of the village and the bridge.

Lovely located on the river, every room has a table and chairs outside and sun loungers. It was lovely to relax here and take in the amazing views and watch the world go by. Got our room early also which was great

Best location in entire No g Khiaw. Right on the river , you can take a dip anytime and sit here all day long looking at rivers and mountains. Glad I booked it.

Ou River House float on the river with peace atmostphere and nice view

This is a small paradise! We liked everything! Location is very quiet, bit on side, so you can really have a rest here. And the swimming in the river is so refreshing! The staff was very helpful, breakfast basic, but tasty (eggs, pankaces, omlet, fruits), they also provide the laundry service. And no need to take tuk tuk from the bus station as it's just 2 min walking. Fantastic stay! Highly recommend!

“Really cool place when the weather is nice”

Staying in a floating hotel was a really neat experience for us. Our rooms were simple but each had a private bathroom. It was really cool to just step over a doorstep and jump straight into the warm river for a swim. The breakfast was pretty decent. Everyone was able to choose something from the menu. Although the place is on the outskirts of the town, it was a few minutes’ walk to the centre. On the other hand, the bus station was very close.

It’s a little rough around the edges but for the price and, more importantly, the location, it’s great. Lovely people and breakfasts too.
