This is a very special place. Near to some trails and only a short walk from the village. Super peaceful location in the middle of nature. The bungalows are modern and beautiful, and it feels luxurious to have your own little balcony and beach on the water. They offer a free shuttle to the village and back. Breakfast is tasty, the portions are big. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a nice touch.

Such a memorable experience, literally floating on the river with a beautiful view of the hills opposite and a huge bedroom and bathroom which included a full sized bath - wonderful to soak in whilst watching the boats go by after a few days trekking.

“Peaceful, unique and beautiful.”

We loved everything about the property. It’s a wonderful location - out of the town but within easy walking distance. It’s so unique - right on the water. When boats go by, it gently rocks. We swam in the river and when we went by boat for kayaking or to visit muang ngoy, we were collected from our float house!! The staff were wonderful and looked after us so well.

“Lovely peaceful spot in a beautiful location.”

Stayed for one night on the way back from Muang Noi to see what a floating room was like. Loved sitting out on the deck watching the boats go by and chilling as the sun went down. Fabulous views and the room is lovely. Got a lift in and out of town for dinner and also walked in which was only about 10 mins.

“Unforgettable place to stay”

We absolutely loved our stay in the Float House. After a few uncomfortable guest houses during our trip to SE Asia, this was a huge treat. We swam in the river as soon as we arrived and it was magical. We won’t forget our stay here!

Loved the fact its on water. Balcony and outside river facilities is amazing to enjoy view, boats, swim, kayak etc. Fantastic breakfast - best had in Laos.

“Truly spectacular room, service needs improvement”

This room was one of the most incredible rooms I’ve ever stayed in! The view was beautiful and we felt really comfortable during our stay. We loved the bathroom and enjoyed a hot bubble bath daily with the view at sunset! It was really fun being picked up from the front porch/deck by boat for a day trip. We could book the trip through the front desk and they also sorted some laundry out for us at a reasonable price too. You do need to go down a few stairs to access the room but this should be obvious to anyone booking. Our stay here was really memorable and we’d recommend it as worth the treat as it’s such a great experience!

The property had spectacular views from the deck, there is only 7 rooms, all floating and you can just jump in the river. The bed is super comfy, the bathroom well equipped with a big bath, and the breakfast is great! Good choices and huge portions. Staff are friendly and helpful with any questions

Its just a stunning location

This place has amazing views. The bathtub was really nice with hot water. Bed very comfortable and the room was big. You'll get some creepy crawlies, but that should be expected. It's about a 30 minutes walk from the town, but the hotel offers a free shuttle every 30 minutes until 9.30pm.

The front of house staff were awesome...so friendly and helpful. The stay wes 100% perfect. Thank you.
