Spacious, basic room.. Has what you need for a simple stay.. Cool upper floor terrace with mountain views to chill on too.. Great owners also! :-)

“Location makes up for other shortcomings”
Table inside room with a great view of mountains and river. Hot water downstairs for drinks. Balcony area was very nice. Decent sized room. Air-con worked well.

“Great value for money + amazing balcony”
In this price range, it’s so far the best hostel we’ve stayed at in Laos. We stayed here twice, before and after a trip to Muang Ngoi. Spacious room, hot water in the shower, comfy bed, AC worked great, free drinking water in the reception, friendly staff. The shared balcony was a major highlight.

We stayed for 5 nights and overall had a good experience. Comfortable rooms. Can be cold at nighttime in the winter season. Sometimes difficult to find staff to ask question or for additional items (toilet paper).
