The room ist very simple, not cosy. At 7 am the first motor boat starts and you will hear it, as you are near the pier.

Great Guesthouse. We ended up staying 2 more nights than originally planned. Very well located, near many restaurants and the beginning for trails to viewpoints. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and also had a hairdryer. Drinkable water, hot water, tea and coffee were available. We definitely recommend staying there. Great price also!

I originally booked only two nights but ended up extending my stay by three more because I loved it so much — five days in total. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spacious, equipped with towels, a hairdryer, a desk, and a mirror. If you can, definitely book a room with a balcony and riverside view — the scenery is absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t get enough of it. The owner, who works in the small shop just across the street, is incredibly friendly and speaks good English. She really made sure I had a wonderful stay in Nong Khiaw. The value for money is unbeatable, especially if you manage to get one of the riverside rooms. A couple of things to note: there are no hot showers — the water is mostly cold or just slightly warm. The place can also be a bit noisy depending on neighbors, the street, or boats on the river, as the walls and windows are thin. But honestly, this seems to be normal everywhere in Laos, and with earplugs you’ll be totally fine. The location is perfect — right in the center and close to the best cafés, restaurants, and bars in Nong Khiaw. I can truly recommend staying here. You won’t find better value for money. “Basic but decent guesthouse in a good location”

The guesthouse is in a great location, near the bridge. Since the town is small, everything is walking distance away. The room had a nice river view. The room was basic (table & double bed) but was clean and spacious. No breakfast is offered, which is not a problem since you have a few good places within 1 minute.

Great location situated right in the middle of town by the river (make sure you get a room facing outward to the river rather than the courtyard behind the guesthouse). Provided with a couple of bottles of water on arrival. AC worked well enough and kept the room cool. If you are staying I would absolutely make sure you get a room on the upper floor as they seem to be far better quality and exactly the same price - I assume that’s where all the good reviews have come from.

Good hotel. The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable, and had good air con. The bathroom was fine too, with a good hot shower. There was just some slightly annoying plumbing from the sink that meant the floor was wet most of the time! The WiFi was non existent in our rooms, but it did work at the front of the property - I think they just need to get an extender. There's some instant coffee provided in the morning, but no breakfast - you can just go down the road to one of the many cafes for that though. Location is really good, directly on the bridge, and easy access to everything and there's also a nice riverside view. Overall really recommended - I think it's good value and significantly better than a lot of the places we saw in Nong Khiaw.

Quickly checked in by the friendly owner after finding the guesthouse easily enough after a long bus ride from Luang Prabang. We were lucky enough to be given a room overlooking the riverside so were very happy. Room was large and comfortable and the beds were fine. No breakfast or meals were included but there was free tea and coffee available all day on the shared terrace which was a nice touch. Lots of eateries and tour agents within a few minutes walk and the whole town was great value for money. This guest house is all about the location which was perfect, very quiet at night and sunset and sunrise was stunning

It was a decent choice and worth the money. We had a patio that looked out at the river. It was centrally located just next to the bridge over the river.

If you get a room with river view it is amazing. The room was spacious and had a balcony.

This property is in a great location with lovely views of the main bridge and all of the mountains. Only a minute walk to the main strip. Nice balcony with chairs to sit out in and enjoy. WiFi was good.
