Spread across 62 acres of tropical landscapes, Lilawalai Resort offers air-conditioned Thai-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and private balconies. It boasts an outdoor pool, a massage house and Thai restaurant. Situated along the main road to Khao Yai National Park, Resort Lilawalai is 8 km from Palio Khao Yai. It is 15 minutes’ drive from Chokchai Farm and 2.5 hours’ drive from Bangkok. Surrounded by tropical greenery, rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, fridge and tea/coffee maker. Private bathrooms have bathrobes and slippers. Guests can enjoy a leisurely game of mini golf or take a stroll through the herb and rose gardens. Staff can provide bicycle rental, shuttle and tour services. The open-air restaurant offers Thai dishes carefully prepared with ingredients grown in the resort’s own herb garden. Afternoon tea can be taken at the coffee pavilion.

“Reminiscent of its past glory with tons of room for improvement”
Overall the place seems to hold some of its past glory days. The property is pretty spacious and there are plenty of rooms. Rooms are spacious however in a bit of disarray. The swimming pool is nice. On the breakfast side, it is barely passable. Management SHOULD pay attention to flies lurking around the fruit and other foods from the buffet. Nothing else to say about the breakfast. It's on the bad side. Coffee was terrible

“Very nice stay, I would stay here again”
It's a big place all together, but it has been set up with a lot of private space per room/bungalow. It's very nice, well maintained and quiet. Staff is very friendly and easy going.

“We felt like local people in a local house”
The place is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a big nice area composed of gardens, a pound, tress, etc. You can see some animals (birds, squirrels) in the hotel itself. During the night, if you wake up, you can listen to different kind of birds, squirrels, gecko... The place is really thought for locals, which means, you have your own car and you speak Thai. The "Thai house" is made of wood, and by seeing the other rooms, I feel they are more "mosquito prone" and less comfortable for a city-person. They have a terrace where you can enjoy lunch or dinner.
