I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse if you are traveling through Thailand or heading to Laos — it’s exactly what you need. I’ve been to many cities across Thailand, but this place truly captured my heart. It is, without a doubt, the best guesthouse I’ve experienced in the country. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming — they make you feel at home from the very first moment. There is also a restaurant on-site, and the food is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, beautifully presented, and everything tastes amazing. The room was extremely cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The entire territory is just stunning — peaceful, well-kept, and very атмосферная. Whether you’re just passing through or planning to stay in the area, I strongly recommend choosing this guesthouse.

A small village within a village. A lush oasis of greenery. The sunset over the river is truly special. The accommodation is well-run, the food is tasty, and the staff are friendly... a place one could easily stay longer if only there were a better mattress.

“More than a hotel- a beautiful and memorable experience!”

Mut Mee is more than a hotel, it is a true guesthouse in the old tradition. We felt so welcomed, cared for and really part of the family. Julian and his team are exceptional hosts, the rooms are sweet, and the location on the Mekong river is so special. Conveniently located near lots of great restaurants, bars, the markets and shops, but it feels like an idyllic river retreat. Enjoy walks on the promenade and sublime sunsets, all on your doorstep. Great food, lovely courtyard, and the best service. Above and beyond. I highly recommend the Mut Mee, and I’m sure we will be returning for years to come.
