“Recommended place to stay and enjoy Saparua island”

“A charming and wonderful getaway with superb hosts”
This was the perfect getaway and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. This is a very old school lodge oozing with charm & beauty (the garden) but may not suit some. Johan was an absolutely fantastic host and was full of advice, guidance & information. He speaks very good English. I will definitely be returning.

a great place to relax for a couple of days when waiting for a flight in/out of Ambon . 1.5 hours on a speedboat from Tulehu Harbour (about 40 mins drive from Ambon) . nice location next to a mangrove lagoon with a lovely garden . generous food portions and a very friendly host

“Lease Islands Remote Retreat”
The Lodge is run by a friendly and helpful English speaking local family. Over twenty bungalows in a coastal location all set within lovely and extensive gardens. There's also a pool and lots of sitting areas. The Lodge can arrange a taxi pick up from the ferry arrival on the other side of Saparua. They also arrange diving and snorkeling trips. Overall well worth a visit if you want to go away somewhere remote but want to have a high standard of accommodation and service.
