“Perfect combination of nature and a city trip”

Amazing location, Cathy & Yann are incredible hosts. They make you feel welcome from the onset. The location is very very convenient, just a few minutes away from Amboise city center. You get the best of both worlds : enjoying a quiet morning in the sunshine in nature and easy access to the city culture, restaurants and cafe within a 10 min ride. The main building of the property is a traditional Loire Valley architecture in Tuffeau stone. The bedroom itself is nested in the actual rock, a proper troglodyte accomodation, perfect for the hot days in summer. Make sure to visit the Sunday morning market in Amboise before you leave.

This homely B & B is located in the countryside outside a small village so it's really quiet. Parking was provided on the road outside the B & B which was safe and secure. The owner provided breakfast in the courtyard while her bees and hens provided the eggs and honey. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful although she only speaks French. We were able to understand each other as we have French from school and she speaks very clearly and slowly. She provided some toiletries for the bathroom which was most helpful especially since I happened to forget my toothbrush. The bedroom was beautifully presented and the courtyard is adorned with flowers. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
