We appreciate the kindness of the staff and the facilities such as breaksfast, easy bicylcles rent, the swimmingpool and it was very close from the beach.

Nice little hotel friendly staff, location was close to beach with bars and restaurant. The walk to town is about 25 mins with plenty of pit stop options along the way. Lovely hotel and location. We didnt get to try the hotel restaurant but it looked really great. Note that the lovely lady at tge desk adv8srd that we should also visit the little Island off the coast which when I looked it up does look beautiful, there are boat trips out. If I return I will look into this bhtnif you are planning to go maybe add this to your itinerary. It looks lovely.

“One of my favourite stays anywhere!”

From the start, our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. When we asked for a cocktail on our first night, instead of saying they don’t do it, one of the staff members was happy for us to tell her how to make it. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and the food was exceptional and very good value for money. The location is superb, tucked away in pine forests near stunning beaches. It felt very luxurious with an old world charm. My partner was feeling a little unwell one evening and the staff were very kind and helpful - nothing was too much for them. It has a nice pool which is part covered, which we made use of one afternoon.

The location was lush - in the forest but close to the beach and the bike paths. Easy 10 min stroll to the beach and short cycle into town. The building was very charming. We loved opening our big window to the view of the green garden. The pool was also great - plenty of loungers and towels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This is our fourth time of staying at this hotel and it is one of our favourites. The location is superb, a short walk through pine trees to the beaches of Anse Rouge and Plages des Dames. Our triple aspect room was quiet and comfortable. The pool is gorgeous and we ate here two nights running as the food was so good. It is quiet and friendly, and they organised bike hire for us. We will definitely go back again.

Friendly comfortable and characterful hotel in the heart of Bois de Chasse ,ten minute walk to the beach. 10 min cycle ride into town. Beautiful garden, great pool and convenient fridge for guests use.

“Lovely hotel”

The location is beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by trees in lovely gardens , lovely homes and close to the beach. It also has a spa and swimming pool and offers bike hire. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. They booked a reservation in a local restaurant for us as their restaurant was closed on the nights we were there - They did however make us up a plate of cheeses to have for supper. Its within a half hour walk to the lovely town with some very nice shops and restaurants. There is a gift of local produced salt in your room which is a nice touch. The breakfast is very good.

The grounds were very nice, and the room was a great size. It was on the top floor (no elevator). We knew this going in, so not having an elevator wasn't a problem for us. The breakfast was very good, and we would recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool, but we did go to see what it was like. It was fully enclosed when we were there, clean, plenty of lounge chairs and towels available and the temperature was comfortable (28 celsius). The garden area was pretty even though we were there after the blooming season had passed. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and everything was very clean. Although there was no on-site parking, it was easy to park along the road next to the hotel. We were not there during the high season, so this may not be the case when it is busy on the island.
