Huge and recently renovated rooms in an older style hotel. The hotel onsen is extremely large. The breakfast buffet has solid choices, and the dinners include a variety of dishes. The pillows for the bed are a nice design with a firmer part which I really liked over most of the other hotels. Quieter side of Noboribetsu as well.

Tasty buffet breakfast and kaiseki dinner. We stayed two nights and had a different dinner each night, which we appreciated. The staff who served dinner were also nice. The different onsen pools were fun to try. And the karaoke room was a nice touch!

This hotel thinks carefully about every customer touchpoint. We received a wonderful welcome, and our bags were brought to our room. The amenities in the room were lovely as well — a tea set with roasted rice tea, welcome snacks, and bottled water. We also enjoyed a delicious meal served by a very pleasant and courteous staff member, who explained the various dishes and how best to enjoy them. The onsen experience was exceptional, with so many different pools to relax in. What made the end of our stay especially memorable was the hotel staff moving my car to the hotel entrance, allowing us to leave immediately and conveniently.

“Perfect location with beautiful room and onsen”

Beautiful room with a loot of space. Great experiencie sleeping on the tatami and with the onsen too. The room is like a classical tatami japanese bedroom, exceding my expectations. The onsen in the hotel was really big, with many different pools with different temperatures (38, 40, 42, 43C), one with bubbles and one outside (for me the best one). I liked that the onsen has really thermal waters from the jigokudani valley. Excellent location in front of the bus stop and just 5 minutes walking to the jigokudani valley, the bear park ropeway and all the main attractions.

“A very relaxing stay”

We loved our stay at Yumoto Noboribetsu. We were stranded in Sapporo due to a snow storm so we missed our first night. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is fantastic, just in front of the bus depot. The onsen itself is very clean and of course, relaxing, with five types of water available. This was my son's favourite location in Japan 🙂 We will most definitely stay here again if we come back to Norboribetsu!

Me and my mum stayed at this hotel when visiting Noboribetsu in 2018, we chose to book this hotel again after 8 years and this hotel was still amazing! It was quiet, clean, cozy. Will def come back again when coming to Hokkaido.

“Lovely (but old) hotel”

Zhang at the front desk was friendly and helpful, answered all our questions to the best of his ability. Bed-making staff were also super friendly and fast. The outdoor onsen was so refreshing. Room was spacious and clean. Right opposite the bus station so is perfectly located if you are taking the coach to Sapporo.
