The style is very traditional. Close to everywhere in Hell Valley. Lobby is beautiful. Both indoor and outdoor onsen. The best is the full course dinner. So much food. From starter to soup to sides to main to desserts. Very full after the meal. Staff made prompt service recovery after a small blunder in house keeping. Good customer service.

We were looking for a stay at a small ryokan, not the huge mega hotels that you usually find at onsen towns so this was the perfect choice for us. The room was big, the futon was very comfortable, staff was very nice, food was delicious and the onsen was very small and always busy but this is normal at those places

A typical Japanese Onsen Ryokan. Friendly staff, nice Onsen and whole place is well kept. The dinner and breakfast are delicious with beautiful presentation. The hotel is located in town centre. Highly recommended!

“Comfortable stay with great meals”

Room is very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. Limited electrical sockets though. Very polite and courteous staff. Great breakfast and dinner at its dining area, its dishes are very nice. Hot spring is a bit small in size, but not crowded. Two convenience stores just opposite the hotel, and it's located along the main walking street, also not far from the hell valley. Nice gesture that we're allowed to leave our car at its parking lot after check-out to explore the town for a few hours before leaving. Compared to other properties around, it's value for money.

We loved the friendly vibe at this big, comfortable ryokan. The onsen included baths inside and out. Our room was spacious, although a little too warm at night for the thick quilts. The traditional dinner and lunch were highlights of a pleasant and relaxing stay. We were particularly appreciative of the happy, welcoming staff, who minded our luggage before check-in and after check-out, effectively giving us two full days for a one-night stay.

A good experience in a typical ryokan including the Kaiseki meals. The meals ( breakfast & dinner ) were excellent. Services were great.

The location is very convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We also like the private onsen. Overall, the building is dated but very well maintained. A very good ryokan experience.

The Hotel is a bit older but it is very well maintained. The staff is super nice the rooms are spacious and feel very traditional. The dinner and breakfast was delicious.

The staff was super friendly!! The service was incredible. The Ryokan itself was amazingly beautiful (including the hall and restaurant). Kaiseki meals were very tasty!! The onsens were wonderful too. An incredible experience!

Family business, really kind staff & fabulous customer service; Onsen is not very large, but quiet and comfortable. Good selection of food, the appetiser plate and the roast fish is amazing. Will recommend to friends
