“Relaxing few days from busy cities”
Hotel was great. The local bus stops right outside the hotel from the train, which then made it very easy to do things like go to the historic theme park near by. Onsens were lovely, it was snowing when I was there so great to do the outdoor one. Breakfast buffet was good, staff were all lovely. Room was spacious in the traditional room and staff come and make up your futon on your first night. Walking distance to hell valley.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Food was a buffet but still ok as there were lots of choices.

“Good hotel for the location, Onsen and facilities.”
Onsen was nice and with a good seafood buffet. Steak was good. The location is good to the hot spring walk and bear park. Comfortable beds and all working facilities in the room.

The indoor onsen was good, with three pools offering different temperature options. Both the Western and futon beds were comfortable. Although the rooms are a little dated, they were clean and well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to nearby shops.

Staff will help to setup bedding for Tatami room style. Dinner and breakfast buffet are good and various options.We had a good rest after the long flight.

“Experiencing Japan's tradition”
Our hotel rate included breakfast which was great; nice meal before touring the area. We celebrated a friend's birthday at the hotel buffet - was great value for money! The traditional floor bed was a nice experience and so was the sound of river running below our window facing the mountain. And we enjoyed the onsen just at basement of hotel. Wonderful 2 nights ....

Very helpful staff in making a reservation for the bus to Sapporo. Nice onsen in the basement with a lot of choices. Bus stop right in front of the hotel.

Onsen Japanese style hotel, breakfast and dinner was included in our booking. The dinner was great crabs and beef were the best I liked. Location just 10 minutes walk to the Jigokudani.
