Lovely big rooms, great location and the Onsen provided lots of choices - sulphuric, salt, iron baths for example. There was a deer outside the open Onsen which my husband said was magical. Lovely town to visit.

The Grand Hotel is more like a not so grand cruise ship

The onsens were beautiful, especially the larger outdoor one with large sauna.

A serene onsen retreat with excellent service, delicious buffets, and relaxing rooms.

Onsen: Absolutely loved the onsen! The hotel offers a large onsen area with a variety of baths to try, including iron, salt, and sulphur baths. The outdoor onsen is especially serene, surrounded by beautiful scenery—just like the pictures. Dinner & Breakfast: The buffet dinner and breakfast offered an impressive variety. The hotel even provides a map to help guests navigate the area, which was a thoughtful touch. Location: While there may be hotels closer to Hell Valley, we appreciated this location at the end of Onsen Street. It provided a perfect starting point to explore the street at a leisurely pace before reaching the Hell Valley scenic area. Service: The staff were experienced, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Room: We stayed in the futon rooms, and it was one of the best sleeps of our trip—very comfortable and relaxing.

We love the outdoor onsen , the dinner n the location .

Very close to shops n bus stop . Only 3 mins walk . Super convenient. Near the hell valley too . I love the public onsen and they change the man and women onsen alternate day so that we can enjoy different outdoor onsen . Love the water fall outdoor onsen . Great experience . The dinner cost 7700 yen if you can eat crab then should give it a try .

A comfortable well located hotel in Noboribetsu Onsen.

Lovely location in the thermal area of Noboribetsu Onsen, close to bus station. Spacious, comfortable newly renovated room with our own onsen bath with view into trees. Very comfortable bed. Buffet style dining had many options and was enjoyed. We appreciated the Yuyu liner bus service which we used to travel from Sapporo to the Grand Hotel made the journey convenient.
