“Great place on longer journey”
This is a remote place in a very friendly, village environment. Not far from main road offers tranquility. Home kitchen and really personal touch. Great landscape of rural France around Dordogne

“A pleasant few days in the French countryside.”
This property is basically in the middle of nowhere. We like this but it does have draw backs particularly off season. The village is very quiet with virtually no traffic. The room was large and well equipped as was the bathroom. Breakfast is taken in the hotel and was enjoyable (no bacon and eggs). Once we found the staff they were very helpful but English severely limited. If we had been there in the summer with the place full of people, it would have been more enjoyable.

Hotel ideally located on the GRP Midi Correze hiking trail. Not cheapest but Comfortable and spacious rooms and the diner menu you should not miss. Also appreciate Madamme offering to clean my dirty rain trousers after a wet day of hiking. Hotel also offers luggage transportation service for hikers. Recommended.

A beautiful Logis hotel, in a wonderful setting close to the magnificent old town of Collonges-la-Rouge. Our room decor was wonderful and unusually artistic. It was very hot when we stayed, so we were very grateful to have air conditioning in the room, a facility not often found in hotels of this kind in rural France. The owner and staff were very friendly and gave advice on the local area. We dined in the hotel on one night (the restaurant was closed on our first night) and enjoyed a lovely meal, sat outside on the raised terrace, with beautiful views.

“A super find in a small village in Correze”
Matthieu was a perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional, so much choice and everything prepared onsite. A great find and excellent value for money

Beautiful room in a wonderful location. We arrived a bit late after a long journey and we’re greeted by the ultra-friendly owner. The restaurant is great and we had an exceptional dinner and also breakfast.
