“Wonderful stay”

Mohsin was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The views are stunning and you can see them right from bed, which was a lovely way to wake up each morning. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated at the start of the Balcony Walk, so we headed out early and had the trail mostly to ourselves. It does get busy after 10am, so the early start was a real advantage. Meals were delicious with generous portions, and the rooms were comfortable throughout. Would happily recommend to anyone exploring this part of Oman.

It is all about the view and sunrise. Nice comfortable room with a big bed. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and good. The balcony walk was beautiful but take care at the end who you have to reach the pool.

An accommodation in the middle of nowhere with spectacular views over the canyon and the surroundings. It might be quite an adventure to get there and having a 4x4 surely does help. It's a quiet place, just a few cabins, which gives you a special feeling. The hosts took care of us as if they had known us for years. The food was excellent. The room we had was really cozy and we liked it a lot. It's really at the start of the Balcony Walk, like 100m, which is a plus. Would surely recommend this place! And dear owners, when you read this: thanks again for alarming the whole team when my girlfriend got lost! Heart-warming …

The accomodation has a perfect location at the start of the balcony walk. Our room had view on the mountains. It was cozy and clean. The host was really friendly.

A very authentic stay at a dream location! The staff is hard-working and very kind, we also really liked the food. To see the sunrise here is a fantastic experience before or after doing the Balcony or Summit hike (we did both:))!

“Views to die for”

THE place to stay if you’re doing the Balcony Walk. Located overlooking the valley and the start of the walk. We did it in the evening and then again for sunrise… both were spectacular and recommended to avoid the crowds. Dinner and breakfast are served with a smile, shower was hot and bed comfy.

The staff was super friendly, and truly customer-focused. Very helpful and service-oriented. Special call-out for Sumil (apologies if I did not quite get his name fully correctly).

Location: facing the canyon, near the hike starting point. Facilities: modest but warm, cosy and well equipped room (heater and hot water with good pressure). Food: delicious meal for dinner and breakfast. As there are only 6 rooms, the atmosphere is quiet and the guests seem also to share this relaxed behavior. Big thank you !!

“Excellent place to stay”

What a great location. Sunrise in front of your room (Mountain View room). Room is spacious and clean. A heater for the winter months in the mountains is also very nice. We enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast. Staff is very friendly and they even organised a small newyear party, with cake, partypoppers etc. And a bottle of (non-alcoholic) champagne. We really enjoyed our stay, literally at the trailhead of the fabulous balcony walk.
