The stay was truly wonderful. I came here with my family and we really enjoyed our time. The exterior of the hotel itself had such a calm and peaceful vibe which made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. Our room was very clean, pretty, and comfortable. The host was also very kind and even gave us a papaya from his yard, which was sweet and absolutely delicious. There was a caretaker available whom we could contact anytime if we needed anything, which made the stay even more convenient. Overall, we felt completely at home and had a lovely experience.

We stay in that place already more than fice time in the last 3-4 years. For me it is a perfect spot with lush green garden, where you can enter by car and enjoy quietness, yet walking distance from the nice old town. The style of the rooms is nice and comfort level is good. Staff always helpful. This time we used kitchen facilities to cook our own breakfast

Good breakfast (not too many options, but Ok). Beautiful place and well located. Parking inside premises, but need help opening the gate (easy enough). Ceiling fans and extra bed upon request. Mosquito nets. Comfortable mattress and clean sheets. Ok basic private bathroom with warm water.

It was the best accommodation we had on this trip. Friendly staff, delicious, plentiful breakfast, pleasant surroundings

200m walk to the Nizwa Fort entrance and Souq. It's authentic, great location and spacious. The breakfast option was very good. Good free parking options. Big hotels are not our thing , we enjoyed this place very much.

“Excellent location for exploring the Old Town on foot”

A beautiful setting amongst palm trees and a very short walk to the Fort and Old Town. We enjoyed a very comfortable couple of nights here. Breakfast offered for 3R per person included freshly cooked omelette, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cereal - eaten outside under the palms. No kettle in our room (there was a fridge) but there was a kettle at reception where you could make drinks to take to your room.

A very beautiful boutique hotel. The garden is gorgeous and the location in the old city with a walking distance to the souq, cafes and restaurants.

I had a wonderful stay at the Date Palm Inn in Nizwa. The host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the souq and Nizwa Fort, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms are rustic and traditional, offering an authentic Omani feel while still being very clean and comfortable. The beautiful garden adds a peaceful touch, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Overall, a charming and memorable place to stay in Nizwa.

The strong point of this property is its central location: with a 5-minute walk you can reach the center of Nizwa, yet there are no problems finding parking for the car. The room and bathroom are clean and spacious. It is far from major roads, so it is also quiet. We were not given the room we had booked through Booking, but it was actually larger, so I wouldn’t consider it a downside.
