“Cozy place anyone visting Nizwa”

The accommodation is located in a beautiful neighborhood in the historic center of Nizwa, and the fortress is within walking distance. The place was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. What we enjoyed the most was the rooftop terrace, which was a wonderful place to relax and take in the atmosphere of the old city.

Staying here was a fantastic experience. The property is beautifully historic and has been decorated with such care and taste. It truly feels like you are stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts you need. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the traditional design makes it one of the nicest places we stayed in Oman.

Very quaint place and had it to ourselves. It’s right next door to a colony of bats that do a great job eating all the mosquitoes a soon as sun sets

I enjoyed my stay, and the host was available at any time to answer any questions I had. I also appreciated the free upgrade, which made it more comfortable for me to have my own bathroom without sharing with other guests.

Location is great, very central, you can walk to the goat market (and basically everything). Very authentic and cute.

The room was lovely in the centre of Nizwa, near the fort and the goat market. There is a nice terrace on the roof where you can bbq if you want.

“Authentic small house in old city”

In the heart of the old city, very authentic with only 3 rooms and shared bathroom. No luxury to be expected but confortable and charming. Very friendly and helpful host.

“Scammers at a nicely located property”

The "host", or whoever he was, could not be less professional and more abusive. At first he asked me to ride on his motorcycle (who does that) and drove dangerously. Then he asked me to follow him to "the parking" and kept pushing me to park my car in a random house on a random dark street with no signs or anything- while the advertisement said the hotel has a parking! He said the random house is his house! After I refused, I spent more than a hour looking for a parking and eventually I found a paid one. That was the only time I had to explore Nizwa so the hotel ruined that experience. Last but definitely not least, the "host" kept on pushing me to pay with cash!!!! He would not take no for an answer. He kept messaging me. I asked for his manager but he said the manager is in Muscat and not available. Also, their internet upstairs did not work and the "host" was not around - I guess he went home -to give me the password for the other network. The sink was clogged and there were insects inside of the room, and the sheets or the room smelled like chemicals. This is a scam. They lie about the parking, keep pushing you to pay with cash (how can you track that), and keep harassing you by sending numerous messages. AVOID.

“A little pearl”

A beautiful little establishment with only four rooms. We stayed in one room downstairs with an external but private bathroom, and one upstairs with a private bathroom and access from a lovely terrace. The upstairs room is definitely better value, with windows overlooking a green internal courtyard, making it quieter as well. We truly loved our stay here. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Nizwa, close to everything, especially the wall walk. There is no breakfast on site; instead, the property offers an arrangement with a nearby café, though we chose to explore other options freely.

“Very nice and traditional stay”

Central location, 3 minutes walk from the very center which makes it less crowded and noisy. The bathroom was very clean. The room is very nicely furnished, but very small so I wouldn’t recommend more than 1-2 nights. Very friendly staff.

We booked 3 rooms out of 4. Rooms are cosy and clean. Building easy to access with an access code. Safe. Complementary water. Receptionist came for check-in to explain and came back the day after for check-out.

Very cozy and clean traditional accommodation in Nizwa, I highly recommend :) The host was very nice and helpful, breakfast was served in a beautiful cafe just around the corner.
