“Best Kyoto stay”

The hotel is in a nice, quiete area, in walking distance to the subway, shop and restaurants. The room was surprisingly big compared to other hotel rooms I visited. Staff are always happy and ready to help with any information. I highly recommend You consider the hotel for the next trip to Kyoto.

Very friendly staff that arranged my suitcase forwarding to the next hotel and extremely customer oriented. Room was very tiny, rather big for Japanese hotel terms and featured everything I could wish for.

We had a twin room with tatami and low-bed. It was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The overall japanese vibe of the room just elevated our trip on the next level. Also the bathroom was exquiste and felt like a little wellness what we appriciated after a long day of walking! Staff was also very friendly and they had a coffee machine with free coffee for guests which was super useful in the morning. I would really recommend to anybody I know. In Europe this would be 4* hotel for sure.

Excellent hotel. The biggest room of our stay with two balconies, a large bathroom and shower room, and authentic yet modern living area. Before booking this hotel, I was worried the location would be too ‘far out’ but it was perfect for us - less than 15 mins from Kyoto station, only 2 mins from Gojo metro, and just 20 minutes to walk into the Gion/Pontocho district for an evening out. Room was spotlessly clean and the location is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto!

Beds and linen super comfy (apart from the pillow) Japanese Onsen style bathroom - bath and seat in separate shower - much appreciated after a full day. Good location - quiet area but only 20 minute walk to Gion and 15/20 to Nishiki Market. Very easy to get around. Less than 5 minutes walk to local metro and 1 stop or less than 20 minutes walk to Kyoto Station. Close to 7/11 for quick snacks. Simple, clean, comfy place to stay. Met our needs as a family of 4.
