⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service and Great Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lexton Tanegashima, made especially memorable thanks to Manager Yoshida-san, who went above and beyond to assist us. She spoke excellent English and gave fantastic local recommendations for restaurants and coffee spots—her help truly enhanced our holiday. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The shuttle bus into town was convenient, and the hotel’s breakfast had good Western options, which we appreciated as international travellers. Highly recommended for visitors looking for comfort, great service, and a smooth experience on Tanegashima. Thank you again, Yoshida-san, for your kindness and outstanding hospitality.

We needed to go to a 7/11 and it was a 10min walk, it was raining so the receptionist offered to takes us there by car. Very nice and friendly!

“Nice location for recreation and business”

Very modern and all super clean. Rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Due to a scheduled rocket launch it was very difficult to get a rental car, but the hotel manager made it possible and could organize me a car in no time. The hotel also has rental bicycles. A restaurant that offers japanes and western style meals is within the hotel. This was very convenient due to the stormy weather. All the staff was super friendly. And there is also a gift shop at the reception where JAXA mugs, t-shirts and so on can be purchased.

We were there on late August 2023. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Dear staff members thank you! Unfortunately, we didn't see the rocket launch, so we wish we could come back someday.

“Onsen is only available for males”

It was not declared at the time of booking that the onsen is only available for men. No female facilities available. This meant that my partner couldn’t have an onsen even though the hotel was listed as having those facilities.
