“Great place, with excellent facilities”

You needed a car to stay here then it was a good central location for the skiing areas. The place was really clean, warm and had many facilities. We had an ensuite room which was lovely. The communal sitting area to heat up meals with free tea and coffee was really excellent with amazing views of Mount Yotei. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful, friendly with very good English.

Very very good price/quality. Clean, confy. Personnel very very welcoming. I would just mention that the hotel is not in Hirafu center, but a bus takes you every hour to Hilton hotel where there are gondolas. The bus also takes you to 2 different onsen.

Very clean and friendly staff. Well located for Wintersports activities, however a car is advisable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

“Lovely place, best with a car”

Loved it as a place to stay, staff lovely, small but comfortable room, no soundproofing - which was an issue with drunk Australians getting back at 0200 one night. Main disappointment was the location, but only because the ski buses are always late. This meant that the earliest we could get on the slopes was 0930, by which time all the easily accessible powder at Annupuri had been chopped up a bit. No problem if you had hired a car of course.

Fantastic view from my window. Very clean place to stay in from the reception to dining area to the hallway and to the room! Mr Hide & his team are friendly and very helpful people 👍. Thanks a lot for responding to our queries. With the bus stop near Pensione, travelling around made it easy 😊 My family felt that some review we read before we came could do injustice to Pensione. We were glad to go ahead with our booking, entrusting our guts on the pleasant ones. I must say that the cleanliness of this place is tip top!

Really nice, helpful staff. Comfortable, quiet room in very good condition. Very clean - even the shared bathrooms - we had ensuite. Drinks were always available, as well as toiletries. A freezer with some food options, fridge with beer, and 'pot noodles' available for purchase. Bus stop just up the road to connect to Niseko. A couple of restaurants are walkable - we did not try them (ate at the ski resort) but other guests said they were good. Ski equipment / boot room and laundry available. Fabulous views from the breakfast room. Great wifi.

The cafe at the ground floor is spacious and provides drinks and microwave. It is very quiet and I like the simple yet comfy stay.

The photos don’t do this place justice. Our room was lovely with a great view out to Mt Yotei. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom very roomy with a great shower. Free tea and coffee in the lobby plus a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. Very good value for money in a very expensive area of Hokkaido.

“A comfortable rest in the mountainside”

The breakfast in the morning was lovely, there's great food places within walking distance (Rocky's is particularly good). Amenities are provided, there's a few self catering options in the communal area and the view of Niseko-Annapuri out the window is fantastic. Other sights to see around the place include a great distillery up the hill, Niseko village, the sights of Mt Yotei in the distance and the general beautiful scenery.

The staff were really helpful! They let us check in a little early which was nice and gave us a lift once we had checked out. They had a drinks station and lots of other amenities (hairbrushes, ear plugs etc)

On a clear winter day the view from the breakfast room is amazing

Best quality/price deal in the area. Hide and the staff are super friendly. Close to Annupuri, 15 min to Hirafu.
