Location, location, location! Separate entrance. Wonderful surroundings, free parking on site, ski depot, the best Nisko bakery nearby. Perfect pow skiing in Niseko!

“Fab hotel with great facilities”

Small hotel in an excellent location for the slopes in Hirafu. Very bijou but all facilities covered including a washing machine and tumble dryer and cooking facilities.

“Amazing hosts and a cute cozy property”

The hosts at this place are the kindest, most helpful people. They picked us up and dropped us off at the welcome center bus station, helped us with luggage delivery, and somehow always managed to be there just when we needed them. There also is a little bakery outside which is super convenient if you miss out on breakfast. They are also cooperating with a Ski Rental delivery. You can call them and fill out a form and they come to this place to do the fitting. And pick them up at the end again. That alone saved us so much headache. The rooms were just as described and very cozy. The location is a bit less central, but its never more than a 10 min walk to get to any places in Hirafu. On the other hand, less central also means that it is very quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a good location and a good room configuration for our family, with the loft space for our teenagers. The owners were very nice and we enjoyed meeting other guests in the lounge space.

The location was amazing, 10 minute walk to the king gondola at Grand Hirafu. The room was cozy with its own heater. The breakfast was really nice and the bakery right out front was amazing (we opted for 1 breakfast in the hotel and the other mornings we got breakfast from the bakery).

Ohkoshi san, our host was lovely! He picked us up and dropped us off at the welcome centre which was greatly appreciated. The pension was very clean, quiet and had super comfortable beds and great heating. The shuttle bus stop and many food trucks were nearby.

Very genuine Japanese familiar atmosphere, comfortable simple room that makes you feel like home. Excellent breakfast before skiing served by the owner.

Value for money. Convenient location close to Lawson supermarket and not too far from the city centre and gondola base.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. Delicious breakfast every morning. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having a separate room to relax in and do laundry, plus a delicious bakery right outside the front door! Highly recommend Pension Locomotion.

“Amazing cozy getaway in Hirafu”

Location was a little far from the dot base / ski lifts, but the accomodation was overall a pleasant experience and very well furnished and clean with everything you need! The host was hospitable and kind as well, even going out of his way to fetch us to the welcome centre as we had heavy luggages and no car. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place at grand hirafu! It was also very conveniently located near the shuttle bus stop and the Lawson mart.

The property is really well located for the slopes (you can walk in 10-15mins) and for the restaurants and bars. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. The place has a great cosy and comfy feel to it.
