The host is incredible! Awesome if you are looking to ski Annupuri in Niseko.

Tucked close to Annupuri and Moiwa ski areas, Bistare Kana is a bit of a gem. Rooms aren't fancy but comfortable enough with good storage. Facilities were good; including shared bathrooms and shower rooms and sinks. There are also coin operated washing machine and dryer on site. Yama-san is an amazing host which provided transport to the nearby ski areas in the morning. Every morning we're also treated to a great continental style breakfast with Japanese influence and an update on the weather for the day.

“If I visit Niseko for ski again, I will come back to Bistare Kana.”

It was my first time to Niseko Japan on a solo snowboarding trip. The place is on a perfect location for me, its 5 mins walk to the onsan, 15 mins walking to Annupuri ski resort. The place is very cozy Yama-san have Exceptional hospitality it felt like home he was super helpfully you ask him for any guidance, delicious breakfast every morning and weather update . I will definitely come back next time. 10/10 from me!

Easy to communicate with the owner of the place as he speaks good english. The man is very kind. Breakfast excellent. Onwer drives you to the chair lift in the morning. Bus stop is 2 minutes away. Coffee shop and Onsen super close. Calme area. Onwer woke up at 5:00 Am to make sure our taxi was comming - he would have drove us to train station if needed. Thank you so much.

Amazing hospitality and service

“Really cozy bistro hotel very convenient to Annapuri Resort”

The breakfasts were hearty and always seasoned with Yama-san's most enjoyable morning snow report. The whole vibe of the bistro was quite homey and cozy and I really loved the Nepalese decor. The advice about onsen and dining options was very welcome indeed! The Nepalese curry dinner was fabulous and is highly recommended. The bedrooms were of a decent size and the under-bed storage space was really usefull when travelling with ski gear. The location was so close to the Annapuri resort; a bit long for a walk in skiboots, but only a short drive. Parking was ample and the drying room for ski gear was appreciated.

Yama went above and beyond for our stay - we lost our car key on our second last day of stay, Yama san drove us to Annupuri on the last day so we can catch more snow, and he also delivered the new car key to us at Annupuri after the new key was delivered to the accomodation. Additionally, Yama san was always helpful and paid attention to details. We had an excellent stay and will be back in the future!

Host is friendly and willing to send us to the ski grounds. Complimentary 8am breakfast. Hosts are like the parents waking the children up to eat breakfast.

Very close to Annapurni ski area and Moiwa ski area. Awesome onsen located 100m down the street which the accomodation offers discount coupons for. Staff were very accommodating and provided free shuttle to both the ski areas. Breakfast provided by the accomodation was great.

Very good host and location, place to park car, place to put skis over night, plenty of space in the room. Possible to ski in from Grand Hirafu. Plenty of restaurants around. Good value for money.

Was well above our expectations considering the price. Yamasan (The Host, apologies if I spelled his name wrong) was awesome and really helpful. The whole place is super clean there is only 5 or 6 rooms so the showers and bathrooms were always free. The Breakfasts were different each day and were really enjoyable. The fire was on each night for great ambiance and we had dinner there once that was super tasty (Nepal lamb Curry) definitely recommend. We will stay here again when we come back!! If your wondering about being in Annupuri vs the other parts of Niseko, we really enjoyed it as the lift lines where much smaller the whole place is more relaxed and there is a number of Onsen, one in particular is just down the road from the lodge. If you are a competent skier it’s only two lifts from Annupuri to reach the summit where you can then ski the rest of niseko. If you’re new to skiing it might be less fun getting to the other fields but in that case Annupuri has plenty of terrain anyway. Thanks for the great accommodation can’t recommend enough

“Wonderful place to stay - turned our ski holiday in to a dream trip”

What an amazing place. So happy we chose Bistare Kana - we stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The property is clean and very well kept, the shared bathrooms were always spotless and we never had to wait for a shower. The shared dining and lounge area was charming with a fire on every afternoon when we got back from skiing making a warm welcoming atmosphere. The best thing, though, was the host - Yama-san - who every morning would give us a weather report, and in the morning offer lifts to Annupurri. Yama-san's kindness and genunine desire for his guests to have a good time shone through and really made the week for us. The bus stop for the Niseko United shuttle (included in the All-mountain pass) was 100m from the front door and always ran on time, so getting between the resorts was incredibly easy. And the food was incredible! Fantastic healthy breakfasts every morning, and for the nights we booked to eat dinner at Bistare Kana (we ate 4/8 nights!) we had a delicious nepalese curry (vegetarian options were available). Cannot reccommend highly enough, and would definitely stay there again.

Yama-San was incredibly helpful - supported us with booking snowboarding lessons, renting our equipment and giving us advise on the slopes/ surrounding area. He also provided a coupon for a local onsen. The hotel itself is really close to Annapuri and Yama-San can drop you off there after breakfast. The other slopes are reachable by bus, and the bus stop is 200m from the hotel. The breakfast food provided is very filling and varied each day. Enjoyed sitting in the communal areas in front of the log fire watching the snowfall - very peaceful!

Proactive in providing weather and various information if you need. 2.Bistare Kana is close to the Annupuri Entrance bus stop. takes 3~5 min to walk. 3.Provide a delicious breakfast everyday and rooms are clean and comfortable.

The guest house is close to Annapuri Ski Resort. The owner gives you a lift in the morning and you can catch a shuttle bus back in the afternoon. The food is amazing - great home made breakfast and the Nepalese food for dinner is really delicious.
