I loved the fresh green wall. It was a lovely wee motel. Fridge worked amazing. Beds were so comfy. Ducks grill nearby was delightful. The bathroom was dated but super clean. Great place. Good price.

The location is good. All these motels are along the highway. So they are handy, but there is always road noise.

Pleasant front desk agent, the room was spotless and comfortable and it was right across the street from the Husky diner.

The staff are very understanding, friendly, and hardworking.

For a small family owned hotel, it was excellent. The rooms seemed to be refurbished & clean. Cheaper than staying in Thunder Bay. Though, Trans-Canada highway 11&17 are in front of hotel. And a Husky Truck Stop is across the hiway. The noise did Not bother me (I always use "Sleep Sounds App" on my phone through Bluetooth Bose Speakers; so did not hear any highway noise.

Had tv issue as trying to get baseball game , but the owner came right away and fixed it, he was very good on directions and where to eat gave us a variety of restaurants where to go. But do not expect quick service anywhere to eat there . had an quaint simple decor but comfortable we were only there for the night. value for money was okay. 119.00 plus tax. fridge was great we used the freezer for our water bottles and they were frozen overnight for our cooler. bed was comfy. It was good would stop again if going through.

The manager was so patient with me when I got lost in Nipigon at night because google sent me on a wild goose chase. I was stressed and tired from a long day on the road and he both texted me directions and talked me through... but honestly ist right on the highway so it was easy to find if I didn't google map!! This is a property that is 'dated' on the inside. I like that because they are not throwing out good things just to make an impression. Everything that matters is up to date (aka the bed was super comfy) - there were no relaxing chairs but frankly I was not there for long. They have a working BBQ and I was able to make breakfast for three in a shake on it! They have both a fan and a heater for guest use to supplement Air conditioning (not needed in Northern Ontario June nights)!! I used the fan in the window to move air. fridge and microwave worked well and honestly I applaud their environmentally friendly choice not to upgrade to 'modern' looking rooms.
