Overview
Nimpo Lake Resort is a waterfront resort, surrounded by nature on the northern shore of Nimpo Lake. Guests stay in comfortable log cabins. Each cabin has satellite TV, a barbecue and fire pit. There are kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, paddle boards and fishing boats available for guests looking to explore Lake Nimpo. Guests can also enjoy viewing nature, fishing, hiking or just relaxing. Horse riding can be arranged at a nearby location. Nimpo Lake Resort is 300 km west of Williams Lake on the Chilcotin Highway, and 145 km east of Bella Coola.

“Quiet and very welcome.”
There was no breakfast but the cabin had everything required. There was a fold-out couch, and a double bed. The kitchen was nicely designed. And the BBQ was in okay condition (one of the burners didn't work.) It was very very quiet.

It's a quiet, peaceful site with lots of bird activity along the lake - loons, ducks, eagles, song birds. There are canoes, kayaks and row boats that quests can use for free and motor boats to rent. The Pioneer cabin is the best bet since it is right on the waterfront.

“Hidden gem!”
The location was exceptional! We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and were able to relax and explore. The hosts offered many suggestions for touring the area and we made use of the boat rentals and kayaks!

“One of The Best Getaways”
Everything about my stay was amazing! This resort is in the middle of no where, you have no cellphone service after William's Lake, if you are driving up. This place is surrounded by natural beauty and some gravel backroads can take you to some amazing waterfalls, mountain views and more. There are wild horses, cattle, bears, caribou, moose, bears, all for your enjoyment. This lake is full of Trout, would highly recommend renting one of the boats and heading out to the middle of the lake for fishing! Worth it! 100% recommend staying here if you like a simple, slow paced, stress-free vacation/getaway!

This cabin has a microwave oven, cook top, dvd player, grill and a fire pit. This cabin has NO INTERIOR TOILET OR HOT WATER, It has cold running water and the use of an outdoor toilet and the camp shower. It is a "rustic" Chilcotin cabin, but it is cozy and cute.
