We had a fantastic stay at Vitamin C in Nilaveli. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about their guests. You can really see how much heart and effort they put into the place, constantly cleaning, organizing, and improving it. The room was very basic, but with a beach this beautiful we only used it for sleeping. It was spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The food was also delicious, especially the mushroom pizza. Overall, a great place to stay in a stunning location, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Nilaveli.

“A little paradise dear to our hearts”

We had such a great time and so much fun at Vitamin Sea, we have kept on extending our stay until we really had to head back! Dinesh and his team are so sweet and polite, great people that got to our hearts as much as the paradise location if not even more. We stayed in a cabana facing the ocean, had juices, drinks, food and at Vitamin Sea, everything was delicious. Plus the bed was very confortable. If you're in for a good time in heaven, that's the place. We miss it and them so much already and can't wait to come back!

“wonderful place”

I spent 10 days at this beautiful place. the bungalow is very spacious and has a cozy outdoor area overlooking the garden. the laid-back restaurant is simply the best. the breakfast was delicious, as were the other dishes. I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant and was surprised by the whole staff with cake and fireworks. the staff are just so lovely and attentive. always smiling and cheerful. I felt so at home and will definitely come back here. thank you dinesh and all the staff for the wonderful time I had with you.

“Beautiful and peaceful stay”

It’s a beautiful place, located right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds to relax on. The room was nice enough, a little small and dated, but comfortable and clean. The WiFi was decent, if stretched a little thin by the time you got to your room. The staff were very attentive and happy, breakfast was divine and huge, I could never eat it all. I did really enjoy our stay here, it was really comfortable and I would go back again. I ended up staying an extra night because it was so peaceful and relaxing. The ocean is beautiful here, not as wavy as the south, nice and calm.

Awesome spot. 2nd time visiting. It's pretty chilled and quiet at the busiest times. Last year we were here in August and it was still very relaxed and low-key. This year, we visited in March, during the shoulder season. It was quieter due to this and because the Orange Knob head causing everyone strife, meant bookings were cancelled. Weather was amazing. Beach is stunning. The sea is ace for swimming, and body surfing. Food is ace. Eat at a table on the beach. Buy some of Berny's original art - his paintings adorn the place and are a cool souvenir, plus you're supporting homegrown talent! Recommend booking the local guys for snorkelling trips to Pigeon Island or Angel Rock. Not the big dive centre. The local guys look after you much better. Suggest, avoiding the dolphin/Whale watching as this is essentially

If you are in the area of Trincomalee, the Vitamin Sea is the place to be! If you look for a very nice and chilled place directly at the beach. Is located at Nilaveli Beach, it's quieter than at Uppuveli beach. Uppuveli beach is nice to go forva drink and food, but when I was there I was so happy that I  choosed the Nilaveli beach and especially the Vitamin Sea! The people who run the place a so nice, friendly and relaxed and the take care of the cleanliness of the beach in front every day, even in out of season time. The breakfast here is the best I had in Sri Lanka. The food is also good, the kitchen very clean. The Cabañas simple but very nice, mostly with seaview. After my flight to Europe was cancelled, I went a second time to this very special and beautiful place with lot of really nice art and decoration and enjoy it very much again. It's like a little paradise ❤️

Very good location. Beachfront location with lovely, warm and calm sea to swim in. Incredible breakfast! Very plentiful and well worth the money!

I loved this place and the beach side cabana, pure relaxation and chill. I really liked Kameel (I am not sure this is spelled correctly), helping everybody out with the biggest smile on his face and making sure everyone was happy! Some cute puppies as well. Beach was fantastic with plenty of beach huts in the shadow. Would highly recommend this place!

“A very well located hotel but a room in poor condition”

This hotel is right on the beach and has its own private area, which is an added bonus. The location is ideal for scuba diving and dolphin watching, as diving agencies can easily be reached by waking along the beach. We really enjoyed having breakfast, lunch and dinner on the beach. The cocktails were good and the food was generous. The staff were really nice and helpful. They played music in the evening, which added to the hotel's good atmosphere.

It was really nice here: great people, great weather, and a great beach and bar. The breakfast is also delicious, and you get local food. The people who work here are really hospitable and incredibly relaxed. You have a great view of the sea during breakfast/dinner. In the evenings, there's great music, and you can wind down the evening. The bungalows are very nice, have nets around the beds, and we had fans. That's perhaps the only negative point: there's no air conditioning, and it's a bit hot at night. Best regards, definitely recommend it.

“Beautiful location on a fabulous beach, lovely staff and good food. Beachside perfection!”

Perfect location on the beach, with a lovely chilled beach bar/restaurant vibe. The staff were great, very welcoming. We ate on the beach several evenings, good food. Our boys had a fabulous room, one of the quieter cabanas out back with air con, very spacious and comfortable. We shared a family room close to the beach with our girls, but missed having air con as it was super hot and not much sea breeze! The fans were decent but it wasn't enough. The room was otherwise very nice with an upstairs, but next time would opt for the cabanas out back for all of us. The breakfasts were great, and the location is perfection. There is an artist with work available upstairs in the bar, check out his pictures, they're great!
