We had a great stay here at Vibushan. Kind hosts, exceptionally clean. Very handy to walk to beach. The beach here is beautiful and safe if you have children. We did lots of long swims. And the food in the restaurant is very very good. Great breakfasts and dinners. Very good value for money.

I booked 3 nights but ended staying for 10 nights, fantastic value for money, clean, comfortable and a good general vibe about the place, the home cooked dinners are very tasty and great value. The owner will organise local trips and bicycle and scooter hire is also available. Recommended 💯%

If you like a nice viby quiet spot semi-close to Trincomalee then this is a good place. Only 5min walk to the beach where there are boat tour services to Pidgeon Island and Angel Rock. Scooty rental LKR 500 per day (05-2026) Included restaurant with medium pricing

An excellent, friendly family run property; very clean with decent home cooked food. It is also the only place that has a borrow/swap book library... Bicycles are available to hire :)

“Family-run guesthouse with laid-back atmosphere”

This beautiful family-run guesthouse has a laid-back atmosphere while everyone is very friendly and helpful. The check-in was quick and easy. Our room was quite small, but okay for sleeping. There is a porch in front of the rooms with chairs and tables for each room. Additionally, one can use the public hammocks and deck chairs. All seating options are shaded. Upstairs is a newly built restaurant in a charming wooden style. The food is very tasty. There are a variety of different meals available (noodles, rice, salads etc. - with seafood, chicken, egg or just vegetables). The grilled local fish fresh from the sea was very good! Furthermore, a variety of delicious juices is on offer. It's just a short walk from the beach in Nilaveli (500 m). Even closer is the office of Pigeon Island Tours (200 m): Although quite pricey because of the high fee for the National Park, we can highly recommend this operator as the snorkeling was amazing! They were very professional and we have seen sharks, turtles, lots of different colorful fishes and beautiful corals.

The owners of the homestay are so so lovely. Made me feel extremely welcome from the moment I arrived. The accommodation is extremely clean and tidy and the rooms are cleaned regularly with fresh towels and linen. The food here is also delicious and they have a vast food menu so lots of choice.

We had a wonderful stay. It's ideally located, very close to the sea. The food is also very good and the hosts are really kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time staying here! The location was perfect, very relaxing and super near the beach, the owner helped us book a snorkeling tour of Pigeon Island and was really easy to do this trip as the boats set off from the beach which is less than a 5 minute walk away. The food was amazing, we ate almost all of our meals here, and the breakfasts had a great choice with nice juices. We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we stayed longer!

The property was super close to the beach and near lots of good restaurants. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant attached was lovely too. There was a free library which was appreciated, and lots of places to sit outside your room.

Price and location are great. The owner was really helpful arranging all the activities (diving, tuktuks etc).
