Perfectly located, simple, spotless

Uthaya, the host, is great. She was kind, and always helped us out. The breakfasts are tasty and generous, and she even sourced fresh mackerel and prawns to make us two delicious and very good value dinners. This is a small guesthouse with 3 rooms and a shared terrace with your own seating area amongst the garden. It is quiet, walkable to Nilaveli beach and lots of food and drink options nearby. We had a large air-conditioned room which was spotless and comfortable, with mosquito nets, though we actually weren't bothered by them. Thank you!

We had a great stay here. The owner, Udhaya is super sweet and lovely. She looks delicious breakfast, so I'd recommend getting. Her place is so close to the beach and a couple of really tasty restaurants around - seafood or curries. The beac area itself is beautiful. The room was simple but very clean and as you would expect for the price.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt homemade and full of flavor. The owner is incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything you need. She truly made me feel at home. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place to stay, room very clean comfortable bed and very good airconditioning . The owners are lovely and helpful, you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very cheap price and the food is gorgeous. We will definitely come back.

Clean and beautiful guesthouse that is owned by a lovely family! The location is close to the beach and perfect to explore the area. Breakfast and all the food cooked by the mom was delicious! I will definitely come back here again next time :))

“Wonderful!”

Wonderful! This little place (3 rooms) is set within 10 minutes of the beautiful beach. Spotlessly clean rooms, super comfortable beds, hot water and fully working air-con. There's a pretty garden area and a little terrace area where you can eat a fabulous homemade breakfast. As with so many places we stayed in what really made our stay memorable was the truly lovely owner. She showed such warm hospitality and genuine kindness that it really was sad when we had to leave.

I loved this hostel for its spotless cleanliness, simple yet cozy atmosphere, and delicious meals. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. I’d definitely come back!

“A great base for your stay in Nilaveli”

Lovely warm and welcoming family, we stayed for 6 nights in total. Great location near the beach with local cafes close by, the rooms are simple and clean.

The guesthouse is in the perfect spot to walk in five minutes to one of the best beaches: not overrun, beautiful water, nice waves and not too many tourists (or locals). Just perfect for relaxing, swimming and catching some sun or shade. The breakfast is more than enough and very delicious, the woman who runs the guesthouse is very helpful, attentive and lovely. It’s very good value for money and we had one of the best stays in Sri Lanka here! A lovely veranda and garden to hang out after a day at the beach and trinco is not far away (visit the temples, the one in the city is very well worth it). We added one night because we loved the spot so much :)

“Clean and kind place”

The guest house is located in a calm area slightly sideways from the beach. It is extremely clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Mosquito net was sufficient. The hosts are extremely helpful and sincere. We arrived late as we had a small car accident. Late check-in was not a problem and the hosts helped us to arrange a mechanic (even though it was a national holiday). In the morning, I asked for an iron and the host ironed my clothes free of any change, just of genuine kindness. We will not search for other places if we ever come back!
