The entire family took great care of us. Very clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend renting a scooter to explore Nilaveli and surroundings.

“Not the greatest experience”
The room was large enough, the air con was good, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast is OK. The daughter of the owner is lovely, so helpful, and really tried to help.

Amazing. The hosts have tried really hard to make this property outstanding. The entrance was superb and the front garden very well maintained and perfect. We are a Family of 5, we had the family room and a double room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The A/C was excellent and brand new. The bathrooms were basic but great condition and everything worked well. The whole place was clean and smart and you could tell the host has pride in the property. The owners were some of the most genuine and best people we met in Sri Lanka, a really lovely family who are reaching for quality and not quantity. They went out of their way to help us and nothing was a bother. The area was quiet and well located for the beach and the town. Local restaurants were close by. Look Out for the local bread TUK TUK everyday for great pastries. Shop just round the corner. You’ll not be disappointed if you visit. We will return one day for sure, Thankyou.

The house is very close to the beach and to the Pigeon Island tour. The room was perfect, clean and cool. The owner is super nice and helped me a lot with my Tuktuk. Also he welcomed me with a soft drink super fresh and super needed (it was very hot 😂).

What an amazing experience to stay at Nilaveli guest house! I have not experienced such amazing hospitality anywhere else. The whole family could not do enough to make sure my stay was comfortable. A couple of days in I was suffering from a migraine and they made me delicious fresh food they prepared specially for me, and even a head massage! They were so concerned about my welfare it was really like being at home with family. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The price of the room was extremely reasonable and they organised me scooter hire at a very good price and also a delicious breakfast upon request. Over all it was a 10 out of 10 experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Nilaveli guest house! I will never forget my stay.
