“Perfect beach retreat”
We were recommend moon isle by a friend but hadn’t realised it was low season and pigeon island was shut. However we had a fabulous time as right on the beach, bar ,amazing food .comfey bed, so quietlike to return Good communication from Mandy and help with trains

“A great location on the beach”
This was literally on the beach. It does have a good restaurant which was not advertised on booking.com . Lovely eating with the waves braking some 5 metres away. Staff were helpful and friendly

Property is pretty rough around the edges but clean, comfortable and staff were really good. Restaurant was great. Rooms aren’t beach facing but not a problem as you’re at the beach within 15 seconds of leaving the room. Previous reviews are very harsh but helped to set expectations!

The location is amazing and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great snorkeling trip to Pigeon Island also arranged by Moon Isle. We slept very well and were sorry to leave such a tranquil, happy place.

“AMANDA WE WILL WAIT YOU IN ITALY”
We loved everything about the structure: -the room was very clean and comfortable - the food was amazing ( told by Italian we can say that it was the best food we've ever tried in Sri Lanka) and authentic - the stuff was really kind and helpful. - in the structure you can find also some option to visit pigeon island and coral island with great price and amazing people A special note goes to AMANDA who is the best host we’ve ever met. A beautiful person, kind and available for any kind of suggestion.

“Wonderful - on the beach - experience”
We stayed in their sole cabana- just wow! The cabana was extremely comfortable, small as you’d expect, but perfect. The beach is gorgeous, very unspoilt & we had the perfect view & the sounds of ocean from our room were magical. The host Amanda is wonderful, nothing too much trouble! The food in the restaurant was fantastic - breakfast, lunch & dinner - seafood platter highly recommended - all very authentic, but Western options too, all cooked fresh & again on the beach with amazing views .

“Can really recommend it!”
The Bungalow is located at the beautiful Nilaveli beach and the rooms had everything we needed. Food was also really good. Amanda and Umesh are really nice. Amanda even gave me a long-sleeve shirt for snorkeling because I didn‘t have one.

“Beautiful unspoilt part of the world”
The location and vibe was incredible. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a stunning location go there. We also booked whale watching and saw whales. The food was great and a very warm welcome from Amanda made our stay amazing.

The location is fantastic, and its a beautiful small resort direct om the lovely Nilaveli beach. We had a great trip to Peagon Island, easy organized at the hotel.

“Nice beach stay :)”
The room is on the beach, just fee steps from the ocean, really beautiful location… Nilaveli beach is really nice and we had great sunny day during our stay. Also the accomodation provides beach towels so that you dont have to worry about yours. The room was nice and spacious. :) Breakfast was included in our overnight stay and you can choose from the menu what you want to eat.

“Nice Resort located at the beach”
Beautifully located right on the beach. The sea was great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A Poseidon dive center is right next door. Scooter rentals are also available directly at the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.
