“Great property, great host, I highly recommend this property.”
The property was great, good location with a short walk to Nilaveli beach. Rooms were newly built or recently refurbished and the beds were comfortable. A small store just opposite the property for quick essentials and the hotel includes a restaurant. The food and service was perfect and accommodated all our needs. The host was friendly and was more than happy to accommodate our requests and answer any questions we had.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay! I recently stayed at Laxsume Guest House Nilaveli and had a wonderful experience. The host were extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I booked 5 rooms and rooms was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hotel’s location was perfect.close to the beach making it easy to explore the area. Food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the service throughout my stay was top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

The owner was so helpful. They have just opened a restaurant next to the hostel so you can enjoy breakfast or whatever you need. It's just 10' walking to Nilaveli beach.

- Excellent value for money. The price is fantastic for what you get. - Great location. Just a 10-minute walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach, which has a nice beach bar and restaurant where you can rent out beds & parasols. - Had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. - Responsive host, who is always willing to help and tries to fix whatever issues you point out. - Small 'restaurant' at the guesthouse as well Overall: For the price, you can't beat this place. The minor issues are easy to overlook, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers on a budget.

“Nothing but praise”
First of all, I have to praise the manager of the hotel. He always helped us with anything we needed, from checking us in early to organizing breakfast, booking activities and arranging transport. He also gave us tips for great snorkeling spots and good restaurants and made it possible for us to have rice and curry for breakfast instead of the usual choices. The hotel itself was also great. Just a few minutes from the beach and close to a variety of good restaurants. It was very clean and very well maintained. We felt very comfortable the whole 9 days we were there! It happened more than once that we met other tourists in town who were unhappy with their accommodation, but as for my boyfriend and I, we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

It seemed like the main host was in the hospital when we came. The other host cared a lot, asked many times if we needed something. Great location, walking distance to supermarket, bus stop, beach and many restaurants. Quiet at night. Floor was clean, apart from under the bed. Ac works well. Huge room.
