“Basic budget unit close to the beach”
This is a very basic budget guest house. It is only 150 metres to the main Nilaveli beach and the boats to take you to Pidgeon Island. The room was decent and the shower water pressure was excellent. The beds were comfortable and we had air conditioning. The provided breakfast was basic but nice. In this price point it provided what you needed. If the owner gets the cleanliness issues sorted then we would rate this guest house higher.

Hostel is run by a very friendly couple. The location is perfect - 2 minutes from the beach. You may select the room in the main house or a hut. Huts are better, but WIFi operates much worse so I decided to stay in the room in the house. Some rooms/ huts have fans, while the others are air- conditioned - more expensive, roughly + 50% of the basic price. The owner prepares good breakfast (Sri-Lanka type) for about 2 USD.

We took extremely cheap room without AC for about 10 dolars for two persons for 1 night. We got what we paid for.... There was no problems just bring your own toilet paper...,.. Locality is good less than 5 minutes to the beach. There are few good restaurants near guesthouse too.

Lovely family nothing was too much for them Had upstairs room wifi a little poor so they gave us the wifi connection for our room Lovely room amazing view over the mountains and nice breakfast as well Recommend this Homestay

“Great place and facilities but location wasn't for me”
The guy who works there is so friendly and helpful. Offered to take me in his tuk tuk to the main road so I could catch my bus and to the shops incase I needed anything. Outdoor seating area. Close to beach

Close to the beach, AC, good breakfast. Very friendly staff that moved my scooter out of the heat in to the shadow when i was a sleep :)
