We absolutely loved our stay at Amanta. The location right by the beach is simply wow — peaceful, beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was amazing, fresh and full of flavour. We truly wished we could have stayed longer and would happily come back again!

“Peace and Quiet in Amanta”

We (three adults) stayed for 4 nights in three rooms. We found the rooms spacious and clean with air con and fans. The location is fantastic if you are looking for a beach to have as your own and a to be alone with your thoughts. I did get in my 10K steps each morning, ~5km walk each morning on a beautiful beach (not seeing anyone on most mornings :-)). We did appreciate the set breakfast menu with something different (locally) each morning. The dinner is also a set menu that changes with seasonal produce; we did try this one night and very impressed with the quality and presentation. It is modern Sri Lankan and not quite what our group were looking for so we ate out the other nights - a number of restaurants close by that were very good (you'll need a driver or "pickme"). All was perfect: the location of the property, right on a lovely beach, the comfort and level of the room and structures, the breakfast and meals served at the restaurant - delicious and with lovely, unexpected flavours! A special mention to the staff, kind, lovely and caring people who will do anything to make your stay memorable. We hope to come back here again soon: definetely recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly exceptional. Their kindness and attention to detail were unmatched, especially when they thoughtfully prepared special dishes for my children at dinner, which made such a difference for us as a family. Breakfast each morning was an absolute highlight - generous, delicious, and beautifully prepared. I genuinely looked forward to it every day and never left hungry! The location is simply perfect, with a stunning beach right on the doorstep. Waking up to that view and having such easy access made the whole experience feel incredibly special. A truly memorable stay, we felt so well looked after from start to finish. If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. It offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere where you can truly unwind and switch off. I would mostly recommend for couples for an ultimate romantic stay.

Amanta beach is an exceptional place. Located on a secluded beach, with a beautiful garden. Everything is perfectly maintained. The staff are amazing and very service minded. One of the highlights is the exceptional food. You are treated to combinations of flavours which you have never tasted before, all super fresh, organic and locally produced. We can not emphasize enough how lovely Amanta is, a true slice of paradise!

The accomodation was really beautiful, quiet and clean. The chef did an amazing job on dinner (and lunch), it is definitely worth it to have dinner at the accomodation at least once :) All the staff was super friendly and provided us with everything that we needed. We spend our time chilling on the private beach and diving with Divinguru in Nilaveli. We both booked an ayeurvedic massage at the accomodation and the lady who gave the massage was very professional. We did have our own tuktuk, which was very convenient as there is not much to do in Kumpurupiddi itself and we went to Nilaveli when we wanted to eat out.

The gardens are absolutely magnificent, the decor and location was just beautiful! A huge quiet beach is right on your doorstep! Tranquil and just gorgeous!

Great place to stay when visiting Trincomalee. Not a very big property but very well maintained. Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room with amenities.
