The place is really well located relative to the Ostrog Monastery. We parked there and walked up, which was a good walk but pretty. Hosts are really helpful and lovrely. The place is fully self contained.

Beautiful view, amazing host

Charming & unbelievably wonderful. Our hosts were kind and caring, providing an exceptional stay. Travellers we met there from Austria/Serbia & Germany were delightful. Wolf ( the puppy) so gentle & adorable. We could not recommend Old House more highly!

Fantastic location and the hosts always happy to help you. There is a backyard, garden and terraces with a nice view to the valley and mountain on the other side. In a good weather you may relax all day in the backyard. It was one of the best places and people I met during my holidays.

“Not reliable and not professional”

We booked Old House Kontic six months in advance based on its great reviews. On the day before our stay, they even sent check-in instructions. Yet we were informed on the day of arrival that our reservation could not be honoured. A solution was only offered after we insisted, causing unnecessary stress with young children. In more than 15 years of using Booking.com worldwide, this is the first time something like this has happened. For travelers who need reliability, this is not the best choice.

The way it is set up is great but the atmosphere they create there is magic, they make you feel like a friend, like home: this is something you cannot build, this is a gift you have inside you and spread over the others We father in law has a second house very similar to this place and we felt like to his house

I can’t speak more highly of this property. We only wish we had booked more nights. This was the perfect place to switch off and recharge the soul batteries.

Super friendly, great apartment with a spectacular view, very close to the Ostrog Monastery. Delicious breakfast!! They waited for us because our flight was delayed.

Very nice hosts and dog. They were so welcoming. Very little english but by using translate it worked just fine. Felt like home. Very nice garden and view over the mountains. Very big room, aircon, nice terrasse - everything you need. Can recommend this place if you like peace and really nice hosts.

We loved the isolation and the views. Our hosts were lovely and very friendly. We had a huge room and a washing machine… always a bonus when travelling for a long time. Breakfast was great.

Big room. Comfortable. Slept very well. Nice bathroom and little kitchen area. Garden area and nice table outside to eat at overlooking valley. Welcoming hosts. Nice breakfast can be ordered. Close to Ostrog monastery.

Great host - Ratka was fantastic. She prepared dinner & breakfast for us as well. The property is close to the Monastery. The house is cosy with a wood fire stove. The rooms were basic but comfortable. Excellent value for money

Very convenient location when visiting Ostrog. You are in a wonderful nature with magnificent views. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable, withe everything you might need. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, they provide you with coffee, juice, even a welcome shot of very nice rakija :)
