“Great place”

The place is nice, cozy, and great for groups. I quite liked the kotatsu. The location itself is pretty good but buses in the area aren't very convenient. It is near several places of interest and is right beside a bus stop. The owner especially was very nice to us and even walked us through the ins and outs of the place and places to visit. Overall, would recommend, would stay again.

“Great stay!”

Very clean and spacious with everything you need. The amenities provided were sufficient and rather good quality. The apartment was cold but heaters were provided in each room. Apartment Location was near Shinkyo bridge so it was close to Toshogu Shrine. 15-20mins walk to the Tobu train station. Most importantly, the host was friendly and very helpful. She met us at the train station upon arrival to pick up our luggage so we could start exploring immediately. Luggage storage after checking out was provided too.

It's beautyfull

Our host Sato was super responsive and went out of his way to welcome us and offer local tips! He even met us at the station to pick up and store our luggage for us so we could already explore the area before check-in. The apartment itself was amazing too and we loved the table with heating underneath for our feet!!

The property is few mins walk from the Tosho-gu entrance and next to the bus stop for the Tobu Train Station (5 mins by bus) and Chuzenji Lake (40 mins). The apartment is fully furnished with ovens to eat up food if you fancy a home-dinner. Sato, the owner, was super helpful.

Wonderful host, helped us to move luggage to the hotel. Near bus station, 10min walk to combini. Near Toshogu shrine and the bridge, 5 min walk.

Great little place to stay. Good little facilities. Sato gave us some amazing recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Instructions for check in and out where easy to follow and clear.

Spacious and comfortable apartment

Excellent, spacious property in a perfect location. Amazing treatment by the property manager.

Owner is more than kind, he's devoted to his task. He propose by himself to pick you up at the train station or indicate you the best parking if you Come by car like us.He will also explain you where to find best spots for restaurants, visits and so on. Apartment is a real Japanese living place, just above a restaurant (we had no noise at all...), with a very nice bedroom ( washitsu with tatami and futon), simple but clean and handy. Litterally 1 min walking to major sanctuaries and shrine: if you wake up early you can be among the first visitors... Priceless... We spent only 2 nights there, but we wish we could spend way more to enjoy Nikko, very nice town. A real Experience of Japan we will remember forever. 佐藤さん、お世話になりました。ありがとうございます。

The location was brilliant - very near the historic bridge and temple complex. The host was just great - so helpful, actually made the stay. The apartment was cosy and comfortable, larger than I expected, very welcoming.

Perfect location

Comfy futons, cooking facilities and having a washing was great. Close to many world heritage sites.

We really enjoyed the traditional aspect of the apartment. The place was very spacious and luminous. Lot of restaurants near the apartment with vegetarian option The landlord was very kind and helpful
