Mark was a fabulous host ! He was very helpful and friendly and ensured we were well looked after! The rooms were super comfortable, the location fantastic and his home cooked breakfast delicious!

Welcoming friendly, helpful staff. Thankyou Mark and partner for a wonderful stay we won't forget. Within walking distance to heritage sites and close to bustops for other tourist sites. Very clean unit. Breakfasts were just so delicious with oodles of choice.

Very conveniently located right next to Shinkyo Bridge and within a short walk of Toshogu and Rinnoji Temple. Check-in was seamless. The room was excellent, with views of the Daiya River from the windows (and from the inn’s downstairs café as well). I visited in winter, but can easily imagine how beautiful the scenery would be in other seasons, especially during the autumn foliage. The owner couple was extremely warm and welcoming. I would definitely love to return.

Everything the building was cute right next to the river. The room was cute and spacious. The bathroom was modern and has a lovely bath in it. Mark and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful I would highly recommend this place. Very close to the shrines.

Perfectly located just a 10-minute drive from Nikko Station and right next to the iconic Shinkyo Bridge, this hotel offers both convenience and charm. Mr. Mark and his wife were incredibly hospitable throughout my stay—they truly made me feel at home with their warm and welcoming nature. The service, comfort, and overall experience were exceptional. Highly recommended!

Absolutely knockout location by a gorgeous river and a short walk from Nikko’s outstanding sights. Super comfortable room with fabulous amenities. Wonderfully cosy cafe-bar downstairs offering delicious food and drinks, including a superbly generous breakfast. The owners are lovely people, it was a complete pleasure to stay here. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Everything about our stay here was enjoyable. Great spot right next to Shinkyo Bridge with a beautiful river flowing just outside our room. Great food, gorgeous rooms. Mark and Hisako were great hosts during our three night stay, friendly and informative. Loved our stay here and Nikkō.

Mark and his wife are amazing hosts with a passion for what they do. They make you feel at home and have great knowledge about the Nikko area and where to go. Breakfast and dinner at the inn were very tasty! If we ever come back in Nikko we will definitely be staying here again!

Very welcoming hosts, room right opposite the shinkyo bridge, on the bank's of the Daiwa river, making for a picturesque view over an ample breakfast! Quiet & rooms has everything you need for a short stay. Hosts helped us plan activities during our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.

The location of the property is stunning. It’s right in the heart of the heritage area so everything is pretty much walking distance like the shrines, walk along the river. The hosts are incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Mark & Hisako are great hosts, make you feel right at home. Breakfast is excellent. Fingers crossed a room will be available next time we visit Nikko. The location is right next to the shrines and the famous Shinkyo bridge.

Absolutely loved my stay! Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details throughout the space. The view from the windows was stunning, waking up to the river in the morning. Peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. Would 100% come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and scenic escape.
