Location was great, lake view and close to the waterfall and great hiking trails. Also it was super clean. The host was super welcoming and gave very good tips about the area. The ambiance in the guesthouse was also so good.

Extremely friendly and clean space

We enjoyed are stay a lot! Takeru is absolutely the best, he gave us the best recommendations and was very nice. The hostel was very clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable. If we are in the area again we'll definitely come back.

Takeru was an awesome host and the whole trip was really great so please help this place if you are up for dorm rooms :)

Comfortable place, you can use the kitchen stove for cooking and storing stuff in the fridge which is awesome. Good view of the lake too from the mix dorm room. Hostel keeper was super friendly and knows how to play the traditional Japanese guitar instrument.

Really cozy property and common area for food as well. They even provided some coffee/snacks etc. the host is very welcoming as well. We can easily cook something using pan or pot in the kitchen as well. The dorms are good as well as the curtains are really thick so can block the sunlight :)

The staff were the best. The receptionist is absolutely lovely and very helpful, and the cleaner is very thorough and lovely too. The hostel is in a great location and very clean. Couldn’t ask for more.

The location was absolutely amazing, with a beautiful view of both the volcano and the lake. It is a short walk from the bus station and would make an excellent spot for a 1/2 day visit to okunikko. This was improved even more by the caring and incredibly helpful host. Thankyou very much for your hospitality - we had a great time.
